Revelations is finally out for us

 

Sacred Stones is up on Gamestop's website for $20 so I bought that shit as quickly as I could idk if it's always been on their website but apparently they're selling a lot of old GBA and DS games for cheap now. Sadly SS is the only old Fire Emblem game on their website that's selling for cheap. If you wanna buy it or any other game use CAG16 to get %16 off your purchase

 

RIP my gameplay of SS I was playing on a browser until it crashed and lost all my data. At least I'll have a hardcopy of it now bless

 

 

Nice! I never managed to get any of the GBA FEs back then, played them on an emulator, my family is/was so stingy, even now everything I own is all my own money

 

Probably spend an ungodly amount of time in SS back then .I really liked the post game for SS since you got to recruit so many characters Ephraim is such a boss, I remember him, Joshua, Amelia, Ross always becoming so strong. I refuse to vote on this thread's poll tbh since they don't have Ephraim

Yeah this would be my first time having a physical FE game that isn't for the 3DS haha. And aw, I'm sorry about that :[ At least you're still able to buy them tho~ 

 

I didn't realize there was still stuff to do after the game ended. I'll be looking forward to that~ I love Ephraim but I love Eirika just a little bit more  I chose her path on the emulator I was using and I loved almost all the characters I recruited. My favorites so far (character-wise) are Joshua, Eirika, Seth, and L'Arachel. Can't wait to start playing the game and using them again

Omg yas forgot about L'Arachel, she's freaking hilarious lmao Never really used her since healers are so hard to level but her character is gold I think Ephraim is considered the harder route but both are good, won't spoiler anything but there's a few enemies you end up feeling sorry for throughout the story

ikr I hate using healers who can only heal and can't fight, especially since she starts at such a low level but she's worth it to me

Yeah everyone says Ephraim's route is the hardest, which is convenient for me because I don't like playing hard games  but I'll still play his route eventually lol. 

 

Ahh, at least I'll actually feel sorry for the enemies, I'd want to actually feel for my enemies rather than them just being heartless and brutal for no reason and me hating them. I already feel bad for Glen He's always so conflicted, I hope I don't have to kill him but I know that's probably gonna happen

 

Glen does die but you can recruit him post game And I dunno if you're up to it but one of the most awesome classes I remember from SS is the Summoner class where you can summon your own units to fight, I'm sad they didn't bring it back into the 3DS titles

better late than never i guess lmaoo  yeah i'm hoping that nx will have more or less the same library as the wii u eshop does, otherwise i'll be on the fence about getting it. especially since i reeeeally wanna play path of radiance/radiant dawn, but i don't have a game cube or wii u, and i'm not willing to spend a crap ton of money to get either console 

 

on a side note, i posted my suggestions for my mock lucina badges in the purchasable badge thread

Tbh I think there's doubt the NX will be backwards compatible with Wii U since apparently the new Zelda game apparently doesn't use the gamepad for inventory stuff anymore But we'll see~ But yeah it should have the same VC as with the Wii U, hopefully with GC aswell

 

And nice I saw that! Are you gonna submit any new FE characters like Corrin or Azura? Feel free to use the ones I posted above, I've already used up my 3 suggestions

ikr RoR and RD are waaaaay too expensive, even when Gamestop was selling a bunch of retro games for cheap they were selling RD for $80+

 

Yeah the scan is great because it's high quality but it also sucks cuz it makes her colors look all weird :(

And somewhat related I just ordered the new Tokyo Mirage Session #FE game online after seeing all the great reviews it's gotten I know there's not much FE stuff in there but still looks to be a great RPG   The way they redesigned the characters though

Just finished Revelations....

 

Omg the last few chapters having to fight both sides parents was so sad yet so fitting at the same time I'm sad we couldn't recruit them post game or anything like Awakening or SS or even just a post game in general, all that wasted XP in the last chapter I did not see Corrin being Valle related tbh so that was nice twist even though the dragon thing should've been obvious lol and I accidentally spoiled myself on Gunther being bad but still a good surprise even though it felt kinda shooed in imo.

 

And finally that last effing stage though SO HARD, the first stage but was okay but damn that second stage        enemies reinforcements EVERY TURN and crazy amount of health for boss that you had to kill basically 4 TIMES, I accidentally lost Corrin to the head and just barely managed to kill it and thought that was it but NOPE have to kill the orb too, barely made it tbh, lost almost all my units, had to rely on duals attacks from Keaton to barely even get sub 10 damage lmao.  I was shaking, if I had missed that 65% hit from Leo, I would've lost for sure and wasted 2 hours of progress thank god it manged to hit, definitely the hardest FE boss I remember playing, can't even imagine playing that on higher difficulty, you would have to basically have to grind like no tomorrow  

 

 

Now to decide weather to even get any of the DLC I wish we got new characters as DLC tbh...

I got it today! Not too bad overall, it's much less vibrant then the pictures suggest though but detail isn't too bad, probably not HD quality but close enough, some pics I took~

The top sticker does touch a little when you open and close the lid tbh so I just cut it off the top a bit but yeah worth $10? Probably not tbh, $5 for sure but if you're a fan of the series anyway then I would go for it

I've starting pairing up all my units for the children characters now while I wait for all the DLC to drop for us, it's funny cuz they all start at level 20 unpromoted and when you use the offspring seal, they go up to level 18 so you only really use them for 2 levels Is scouting for the lowest level map and pairing up the fastest way to gain support? Not bad for farming gold either since it only cost about 250 gold to scout and you always get 2k gold in the map

 

Also, this is officially my first and only 3DS game to play past 100 hours, passing Pokemon B2 on like 99 hours lol definitely my GOTY so far

Finished getting all the children character   damn some of them have really interesting personalities lmao, even more then the main cast in some cases, glad they don't turn out all OP though like in Awakening so you actually have a reason to use their parents aswell My favs are probably

 

Her lazy personality reminds me of myself lmfao and the way she speaks with poetry can be quite funny

The way he's scared of everything despite his looks makes it pretty ironic and funny haha

Like father, like daughter she should've been the person you could have a same sex relationship with tbh would've made perfect sense

The amount of thirst this girl has cannot be quenched

Chapter 22 in Conquest has no chill.

Yeah Conquest in general is pretty hard especially if you're playing classic or hard mode    have you used any of the DLC maps to grind yet?

 

I'll be honest I didn't even give the children a second look, I mean, I'm still on Birthright (I'm currently on the final chapter), I used Miitama, and she had really good magic and speed (her mom was Orochi) and Caeldori was really good too, but IDK, even in Awakening I didn't use them, so many of them join and so fast, I get a bit overwhelmed

 

Midori was a cutie tho, I was thinking of using her, I married Kaze to the avatar and they were one of the second to get married so she joined fast but in the end, I forgot, plus at that point most of the core of my team were established

I regret marrying them though, Hinata was a cutie, wanted to marry him OTL but I didn't want Kaze to die so I was quick with grinding out his support and in the end I was just like...whatevers.

 

 

I used them all once or twice, and I mean, Selkie was cool and Rhajat was powerful as well but in the end...eh~

 

I also didn't use Miitama and Rhajat cause I just didn't want any more magic users, the designs of all the magic classes in Birthright were offensive to the eyes, I just stuck with Orochi and sucked it up.

Actually Mitama works better as a physical unit especially if her mother is physical based, I have mine as a dread fighter and she has 40 STR and 34 SPD which is insane    and I like using the children cuz I can pass on the really good skills like all the weapon-faire to them, I have a Kinshi Knight for Kiragi who has BOTH Lance-faire and Bow-faire but yeah you'll have to find the skills first for the parents which if you hunt around online castles you can find relatively easily. It's harder to find children units for skills though so make sure they inherit the good skills from their parents before you get them~

The only DLC I've played is the Awakening one. And somehow I don't have any of the children yet.  I may have to buy some packs.

 

I'm not playing on hard, but I am playing on classic, and I don't know if I can pass it without losing anyone at my current army strength.

Haha don't worry, in Conquest I only managed to get Corrin and Azura paired up and yeah only if you feel it's too hard you can use the DLC to grind but it's probably better without it. You can get all the children you want in Revelations anyway since you have access to pretty much everyone from both sides

I just remembered that I haven't used any of the buff items like spirit dust etc. I usually save them for end game. It should help me a little. I'm probably gonna buy a bunch of hp tonics too.

Oh yeah I always hoard them and never use them either But you should use them for Conquest yeah since Revelations is gonna be your final playthrough anyway and no items carries over unfortunately

I just finished Birthright! It was fun, I need to go to bed now but I'm going to start Conquest tomoz maybe, I was just sad that they don't rank your characters and give your top three units gold, silver and bronze medals at the end ={

 

I always thought it was really interesting to see.

 

Also, at the end it asked me to pick 5 character and after that returned me to the title screen, does anyone know what that was about?

 

Anyway my only regret at the end was not capitalising on Sakura's CRAZY magic growths and reclassify her into an onmyouji, but those designs look so ugly I just can not and priestess Sakura looked cute~

 

Basically the 5 charcaters you pick you can recruit or learn skills from in your next play throughs, no one really recruits (well I don't) since they don't have any support options so I would pick the characters with good skills so you can learn them faster in your next playthrough but since you're doing Conquest you might be short on funds to buy them anyway unless you use the DLC so I wouldn't worry too much

 

And yeah my Sakura has insane growth in Revelations too, she's a Priestness too so I just gave her a Shining Bow and she wrecks everything lol

I guess this was all announced on FE Fates' 1st year anniversary? Yusuke Kozaki did some artwork for it too~

 

 

So happy all these figures are being announced right when I started getting to collecting figures   I'm so getting the Camilla statue and Corrin figma
