anyway I'm about 150 orbs deep into the 8% banner, I just wanted either of the Spring units (mostly Xander for carrot lance fun), Bride Cordelia, and/or ANY of the reds (preferably Celica) but I don't think it was meant to be. My sister wanted Bride Cordelia too but got her on her free summon(!), I'm still not sure whether to laugh or cry

 

I've got Hector though which is nice and Bridal Caeda who isn't that good but she is so beautiful so I'm okay with it

 

Installed FEH again after not playing since Easter and got the new character Fjorm after using like 100 orbs lol, they have so much new features now, it's pretty overwelming

Just out of curiosity who did you choose as the free 5 star? (if that's still a thing)

Hi! I just got a switch and am debating on getting either BoTW or FE Warriors, because of my love for both series on other consoles. Do you guys prefer FE Warriors moreso than "regular" FE games?

I can also vouch for BoTW, it's great. I wasn't a big fan of FE Warriors. I'm not big on hack-and-slash games and because of that I couldn't really get into the gameplay, too repetitive for me. The Switch will get a real FE title at some point so just hold out for that.

I think I'm done with this banner, Effie with Carrot Lance is not happening :( going to save now, maybe put in a few orbs if some more FE8 characters are put in, wish I could summon for Lute but I'm low on orbs...

 

Oh really, do they do these high % drop banners often? I should probably take advantage but there's probably gonna be Christmas banner soon...

They definitely don't happen often, as far as I can remember this is only the third banner with increased rates. The other two were Hero Fest 1 (back in April) and 2 (back in August). This current banner is the best of them as well since there's no chance of off-focus pity breakers. Keep in mind though that IS has implied there will be another Legendary banner by the end of the month. Sounds like they're going to try and suck out everyone's orbs with that + inevitable Christmas banner.

 

And I've been saving all these orbs since they first announced the banner a few weeks ago lol, been grinding out Tempest Trials for more orbs as well. I'm a student with not a lot of money so spending on orbs wouldn't be the best idea lol

Definitely did not expect Rhajat. Tharja should be on the Christmas banner so in a way, we're kinda getting two new Tharjas this month... if it had to be a Hoshidan girl why not Mitama :(

 

I'm most likely not going to spend orbs on this, I'll try red for my free summon because Soleil is indeed adorable but I'd rather save. Even if I really wanted her I'd end up getting Siegbert anyway, pretty annoying when a unit you want shares a colour with some unit you don't want.

 

Nice, I've been grinding all the story stuff I missed and have almost 100 orbs again, so sad I missed out on the swimsuit banners

I missed out on the summer banners too, I was super busy over the summer and didn't have the motivation to play FEH, only started playing again with all the CYL stuff which was after the summer stuff :/ really hope Summer Corrin and Xander come back, Corrin is great for a lot of reasons and I definitely need that Lilith floatie

Got 3* Henry and 3* Beruka in my free summons on the VG banners, I take this as a sign that I'm not welcome to summon on those banners 

 

Speaking of which, what a weird gauntlet theme. People who have an unhealthy obsession with someone else and people who are in healthy relationships featuring a couple characters with unrequited love? I'll support Sigurd though since he's my fave of the bunch and we don't have enough male gauntlet winners. Hopefully this gauntlet is as entertaining as the last one was (Takumi vs Shanna was the best ever gauntlet match besides Ephraim vs Chrom imo)

 

I also have axe Azura but idk if I would count that as a special costume, she's great though, she's the green unit in my main team.

I just got bad flashbacks to that Performing Arts banner, sniped green orbs for a whole month for that Azura and I didn't get her :(

 

Amazingly I got four Inigos though. And I got Olivia too on a board with no green orbs and one colourless. I'm okay with it since my Inigo is a monster and I love Olivia but wow FEH really didn't want me to get Azura

I need more FE8 characters, only have Seth (who is definitely not as good as he was in FE8, in fact he's extremely mediocre), Amelia, and Joshua because he was free. Missed my chance at Lute ^:( and I don't have any of the Frelian royal siblings either lol

Tharja's outfit though  why/how is she an armoured unit and more importantly why is EVERYONE on the banner an armoured unit

 

Not going to go too hard on this banner, I really want one of the greens (Chrom and especially Lissa look great) and I'd happily take Robin (don't really want Tharja, I already got Halloween Henry with great IVs so no need for another armoured mage + that overly sexualized art makes me pretty uncomfortable) but I want to save for the next Legendary banner too. I'm also still damaged from my failed attempts at getting Ephraim and Tana...

Spent more orbs than i'd like to admit on the 8% banner but I got Innes so I'm happy

 

Also the new Raven-Lucius banner is the worst banner I can remember, why would anyone spend orbs on it with the banners that are already here or are coming lol

 

Weird that Corrin isn't on the new banner, hoping that he'll be a free unit but I'm expecting him to be on a VG/TT banner or something considering IS has been (annoyingly) doing that recently. I'm building a monstrous Felicia so I'm not too sure about summoning for Takumi now, don't really need another dagger user lol but I'm definitely going to chip a few orbs in for Azura, a flying singer is too hard to resist...

If Tharja wins the voting gauntlet again I think I'm done with gauntlets forever
On the topic, I was going to support Azura in the gauntlet, but since I actually pulled Camilla I'll support her instead lol I definitely would not support her if I didn't have her, but bonus VG points is too much to resist

Definitely going to go back in for Azura/Takumi at some point but since the banner doesn't leave until the end of January I'm not going to rush it, my biggest nightmare is me spending all my orbs and IS releasing a new Sacred Stones banner right after (L'Arachel when)

edit: I wish I could ban Gunter from all my pulls, please just retire and never come back to my barracks. Why can't I get I get decent green 4* like Fae or Nino, why does it have to tease me with the smoke and then give me yet another 4* Gunter, I've gotten four just from trying to pull Azura

edit2: Did seven more summons and four were Gunter. I am at a loss for words. Eight in total...

edit3: I'm sending all my Gunters home now, good riddance you old bag have fun in your nursing home

How is anyone going to stop Tharja from winning the VG, Chrom can't even put a dent in her... Azura or Camilla are the only ones who I think could possibly maybe have a chance. Maybe it's just how dominant Tharja was in the last gauntlet, but she has sort of an air of invincibility around her. Camilla's already beat Tharja once before and I thought she'd be a pretty good bet to make the final but we're getting stomped pretty bad right now by Azura. It's not over yet though, Camilla was in a very similar situation against Lyn in the CYL gauntlet. All it takes is one well-played multiplier.

 

If we lose, I'll support Azura next round unless I can pull Takumi and he beats Ryoma before then (neither of those looking too likely atm). Once I can scrounge up six more orbs to get to 20 I'll summon again and hopefully my first summon of 2018 won't be too disappointing...

I am actually totally okay with whoever wins

Did you already 4* Lvl 40+10 your Gunter and donate Hone Calvary to all of the following units: Abel, Stahl, Cecilia, brave Roy, Titania, Clarine, and...I'm sure I'm forgetting another cavalier without a C skill. Oscar? Cain?

That's my goal for all my spare Gunters before I send them away for feathers.

I gave Hone Cavalry to my 5* Seth and 5* Titania, don't feel like building my other horses up. Those two along with B!Lyn, B!Roy, and 4*+3 Frederick are the only cavs I care about in my barracks (might build up Berkut in the future if I'm bored, just because he's cool). Everyone else either I just don't really care about/don't like, have bad IVs, or I'm saving them for future skill inheritance.

My horse emblem team is pretty bad, those five I mentioned are the only ones who get any playtime at all and none of them outside of Lyn are all that good (Roy is +Res -Spd which is just painful). I don't want to +10 Gunter either so I don't really have much reason to do anything with him besides send him home, I'm sure I'll summon like 500 more Gunters anyway by the end of the year though so maybe I'll build a 4*+10 Gunter then

Zelgius is absolutely ridiculous too, he powercreeped Black Knight ^lol not sure if he or Micaiah is the best unit on the banner honestly, both are looking great. Sothe is definitely worse than both of them but he is still really good at first look, I'm not going to go for him though (already got NY!Takumi, PA!Olivia, and WIP Felicia vying to be my first choice dagger)

 

Going to try my best to wait until the last few days of the banner to summon but realistically I'll blow a big chunk of my orbs early and get a bunch of Jagens, Oboros, and Raighs with a pity-breaker Clair (or someone else who is awful) when my orb count reaches dangerously low levels

Yeah now that I've had some time to think about this banner I'm definitely going to wait until the last two or so days and even then I'm probably just going to do the 15 orb summon. Zelgius is really only viable summoning for for whales, he's not a major upgrade over Black Knight. Micaiah is great, but I want Lute. Micaiah's lack of nose kinda puts me off.

IS trying to bait us, the anniversary and legendary banner are coming soon-ish so I'm waiting for news on that before I make a decision on the RD banner and whether to go for Azura or not.

Really hoping the upcoming new banner is FE8-themed since they're teasing it with the Lyon and Valter GHBs, there are so many characters from FE8 that I want in but hoping at least some of Neimi, Marisa, Cormag, Myrrh, and especially L'Arachel will be coming

 

Also excited for CYL Round 2, leaning towards splitting my votes between Felicia and Ephraim but I'm not too sure yet

I guess IS just accepted that Tharja and Camilla are getting top 2 for females and decided to throw out a new Eirika now lol I love Eirika but I am not happy with this at all considering IS are rehashing characters from a game which already doesn't have enough representation (imo at least) and she uses Gleipnir even though she can't even use magic in FE8, let alone dark magic. At least her new art looks amazing? I haven't pulled Eirika yet though so if this one is my first that would be something.

 

A bit irritated that Myrrh has Hone Dragons, dragons are already strong enough imo. Also L'Arachel is finally here, RIP my orbs because she is what I've been saving for. Rather disappointed she's not a staff user and looks to be worst unit of the three, but she is still first priority and if I don't get her with my big orb stash I think I'll need a break.

 

Marisa is coming as well, can't tell if she'll be a free TT reward or on the Tempest Trials banner though. I'm going to assume she'll be on the TT banner since I'm rather cynical of IS but if she's free that would be fantastic even if she'd be the 42768256th free sword unit lol

A lot of orbs into the banner (I think around 120) and I've got the new Eirika and Hinoka who I've wanted for as long as I can remember, honestly really happy with that. Going to stop summoning until we get some info on the anniversary. L'Arachel will probably get demoted so I'm not too fussed about missing out on her here

 

Lyon and Marisa's artworks look pretty good, really excited

- might throw a few orbs into the legendary banner but I'm just not very interested by it, where is Lute or Ephraim

- Pretty disappointed that A Hero Rises couldn't just be an individual thing, it's going to cause a lot of negativity in the community. I just want Lute or Ephraim but if I vote for them I may as well just not even vote at all since they won't win. No idea who to vote for at the moment.

 

Relatively meh channel overall imo, definitely looking forward to 100 orbs, Xander, and that rhythm game though lol

No luck on the Valentine's banner so far, just got pity broken by Peri lol my body hurts

 

I'm not deterred though, I haven't gotten a focus unit (besides legendary banners) since Eirika on that FE8 banner a while back but I'm determined to get at least one of them

You can still get a few from the daily maps, I haven't pulled for like 4 banners straight so have 200 orbs saved up just for this 

Wow I really hope you get him, going for specific units on legendary banners is a real pain lol
