it's hard to say bc I'm not an idol but having been into fandom for so long and reading rpf I would probably be that person to slyly tweet things that make fans know I read their fic.

some shippers go too far though. I don't know if it happens in kpop, but in some of the other fandoms I'm in, shippers legit harass the partners of the people they ship. it's creepy. keep that shipping stuff to the internet.

If it doesn't cross the line yeah. It happened with fifth harmony (camren = lauren and camilia) and the girls hated it, what's interesting about them though is at first they found it fun and didn't mind.

 

But fans started to take everything they did and said to each other to another level by hating on other girls/guys they dated or hanged out with just for the "camren" ship and stating how real they were. They wanted fans to stop but they didn't so it affected how they interacted on camera, with the western perspective (since they can speak out and not harm their image) I think if it makes them uncomfortable they should stop it.

generally the idols themselves are the ones that feed the ships, kind of like those couples in reality shows, they profit from them, so if they started it they should deal with it too lol so to answer the question if i was one too id be cool if i was feeding or promoting them

Depends on who it is. I ship Vkook but I don't think Jungkook would be the type to appreciates it very much (unless...  ).

But then if you look at Seungji(KNK), Seungjun probably won't but Jihun might (literally one time when a fan commented "jihun is cute" on their fan cafe and he replied with "kimchi (jihun's nickname) is mine"  wheras Jihun tends to be mean towards him  )

 

I think it depends more on their personality some would think it's funny but others probably hates it. But ships are really just jokes so I think they'd look pass it. Plus fan service they could just be faking it...but I still love it
