I still get goosebumps when I hear Qing Fei De Yi 17 years later. Seriously it produced so many of the biggest stars we enjoy today: F4 (Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Vic Zhou, Ken Zhu), Wallace Huo, Ariel Lin, Rainie Yang, Ady An, Chen Qiao En, Show Luo etc Their OSTs are so memorable too. I hope TW dramas will produce that needed hit again to get the ball rolling amongst international fans. Their rom-coms were amazingly awesome. Any Taiwanese rom-coms you'd suggest? the old ones are always so good to begin with 1) Autumn's Concerto - brilliant acting, fabulous OST, will leave you with major withdrawal symptoms once it's done. 2) Fated to Love You - great acting by both Joe Chen and Ethan Ruan, memorable OST, withdrawal symptoms as well I suggest you begin with those two to get a hang of TW dramas :D SAY THAT YOU LOVE MEEE SAY THAT YOU CAREEEE Those opening lines and memories flood in... and dont forget this Autumn's Concerto! MEANIE~ 6,612 Posted January 18, 2017 Share Posted January 18, 2017 Actually there was 1 great in recent years (The Way we were) The rest were not good either It is mainly due to the change of format of taiwanese drama (The episodes were long and the plot was not really attractive) And ISWAK,Meteor Garden are extracting the inspiration from the Japanese Mangas In which this type of drama fell short due to not many ppl extract the inspiration of Japanese Mangas Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
