Rosé- Nice Timbre has the most stable and agile voice in the group, is lacking technique wise and often resorts to singing through her nose, by far the strongest vocalist in blackpink. 2. Jennie-Has a very beautiful timbre as well but often tends to strain and voice can sound a bit forced, uses her chest voice a lot. With some training could be as good as Rosé. 3.Lisa/Jisoo- both very very weak and lacking confidence, have little to no control over their voices and have very bad placement. Flat the majority of the time and have projection issues(esp Jisoo). Lisa may edge out jisoo a bit but I haven't heard enough of her. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jennie >/ Rosé tbb yeah I agree Jennie has better support and more potential (Rose sounds more like an indie singer and she prefers style over technique) I remember I asked ahmin before blackpink debuted, he told me Jennie was not bad also you can tell by watching some of her featuring performances (with GD for example) but I personally prefer Rose's voice and Jennie more as a rapper. I don't think Bom had a stylistic singing I think she just happened to have unique vocals tbh that she gradually damaged for signing out of her range. All i know is a mainstream pop singer (not only kpop) usually only use falsetto & vibration based on the songs need. They are not a jazz, R&B or opera singer. She cant really sing loud because she doesnt even speak loud... and she sang this in English. Just notice her last line. Perfection. While Rose's voice is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard for acoustic versions of songs. Blackpink goes perfect together, their harmonizing is outstanding thats why they're a group. Lisa doesnt have to sing like others because thats not her "role" in the group. Nomally if a singer sings with head voice, the singing tone will sound a bit breathy and high pitched. I think the way she sings it's perfect and it suits her, if Nutella had a voice it would be Rosès voice. Jennie- Jennie has that american style vibe (am I the only one who gets that vibe from her?) by that I mean she has that swag and sexyness in her voice. She sings mostly with falsetto with a little bit of chest voice and also vibratto. Jisoo- Now for Jisoo many people say she can't sing and I have to disagree with that statement. Jisoo has also a unique voice, it's a little bit deep and husky even when she speaks you can hear that husky tone and I personally think it's very charismatic. Jisoo uses like Jennie falsetto and chest voice and ofc vibrato. Lisa- I don't want to jump into conclusions, because I haven't heard that much of Lisa's voice. I have seen V live when she was singing Disney songs and I have to say she has such a sweet voice. When she raps she uses her speaking voice and she also uses her Thai accent to make it sound cooler.
