This was the result of a lie detector. Hwang Jeong-min put his hands on a lie detector and answered questions at the show case of the movie "A Violent Prosecutor" on the 28th. The first question was if he couldn't stand injustice like lawyer Byeon Jae-wook and Hwang answered, 'Yes'. It was true. The second question was if Kang Dong-won was his best partner ever and Hwang answered the truth again. Kang Dong-won mentioned in 2010 that he goes to the PC Room to play games with Won Bin and kwon Sang-woo. However, now that Won Bin and kwon Sang-woo are married, who is Kang Dong-won's best friend? Kim Yoon-seok and Kang Dong-won met in the movie "JEON WOO CHI : The Taoist Wizard" and that's when Kang Dong-won learned how to drink too. He also drinks with Song Kang-ho too. So Yoo-jin, Wang Bit-na, Lim Soo-hyang, Sin Hye-seon, and Kwon O-joong appeared on the special episode, 'You are a king' of KBS 2TV's talk show, 'Happy Together 3'. During the episode, Sin Hye-seon opened up about the kiss scene with Kang Dong-won. Kang Dong-won is known as an actor who has not filmed many kiss scenes. Because of this, the intense kiss scene drew much attention and Sin Hye-seon earned the nickname, 'Lotto woman' as in someone who is so lucky. Sin Hye-seon said, "The kiss scene was not in the script originally. But it was created instantly. I was so excited but I acted indifferently" and "I thought he would have felt some burden if I'd reveal too much excitement". On March 30th, Kang Dong-won departed to LA for his fashion pictorial shooting schedule. It is his first official schedule abroad after he signed a contract with his new agency, YG Entertainment. Kang Dong-won's first schedule in LA was to attend a party hosted by an American music label. He met CL at the party and took a photo with her. Kang Dong-won's big smile and the shy look on CL have caught our attention. After having his pictorial shoot, he did sightseeing around the downtown. "Master" is "Cold Eyes" director Jo Eui-seok's next film project starring the powerful golden lineup, Lee Byung-hun, Kang Dong-won, Kim Woo-bin as well as Eom Ji-won, Oh Dal-soo, and Jin Kyeong. The filming begins on April 23rd. "Master" is a crime action movie depicting the mind-boggling brain game between the intellectual crime unit and an unprecedented fraudster backed by the real brain behind the biggest fraud case in history. Lee Byung-hun will play CEO Jin of One Network, who leads the enormous fraud case. Kang Dong-won will play Kim Jae-myeong, a commander of the intellectual crime unit. Kim Woo-bin has been cast for the role as General Park, who is the actual brain behind the fraud case led by CEO Jin. The first rendezvous of the three A-list actors is drawing explosive attention. Ticket power holders Song Kang-ho and Kang Dong-won are likely to star in the movie "Fifth Column". Song Kang-ho has already hopped on board while Kang Dong-won is going through details after being mesmerized by the scenario. If he decides, then it's the first time in 5 years since "Secret Reunion" that they are co-starring in the same movie. "Fifth Column" is an action thriller about a military investigator facing a huge scam. A spy gang is the main subject of the movie and Song Kang-ho was on top of the casting list. He takes on the role of the military investigator and Kang Dong-won has been offered another leading role that's the opposite in terms of character. According to sources, Kang Dong-won has shown a great deal of interest in the scenario. He's going to wrap up "Master" and join "Fifth Column". Kang Dong-won has continuously been coming up with movies in the last 1~2 years and has been creating a solid base for himself. He is currently in the Philippines for the movie "Master" and will return this month. Prior to "Fifth Column", Song Kang-ho is also in the middle of making another movie called, "Taxi Driver". "Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned" is the story of a boy who disappears when he goes to the mountains with his friend, only to return as a full-grown adult a short time after. This movie is producer Eom Tae-hwa's first commercial film. He wrote the scenario himself and anticipation has been building for his detailed set-up and emotional layout. The source of the movie is nothing like ever seen before in Korean movies. The premiere of the film was held on the 11th. Eom said, "The film starts with a grown man standing in front of the waves and a little boy. The boy believes the man whom no one else believes. I wanted to talk about faith through it and based on that, I wanted to show the purity of love". "Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned" is an imaginary world so I worked hard to make the cast and staff understand it. There's a lot to do on my own in independent movies but this time I didn't have to worry about that. I communicated with the cast as much as I could and I did my best". The movie features Kang Dong-won who has a big female fan base. His last two movies "The Priests" and "A Violent Prosecutor" were tremendous hits and he chose to go for a new look in a fantasy movie this time. He plays Seong-min, a boy who returns as a grown man. Kang Dong-won said, "This is the purest character I've ever played; it was not easy finding the right balance between boy and man. My character also has to give faith and suspicion at the same time. I paid attention to acting and talking like a boy". Kang has been working with a number of rookie producers now and he said, "Being the same character isn't fun. As an actor, I enjoy being in different genres and characters. I put a lot of weight on scenarios when I choose work and if they are good, I Don't Hesitate". Producer Eom said, "Kang Dong-won is the first person I thought of when I wondered who could be a man and a boy at the same time". Kang Dong-won appears only 40 minutes after the movie starts. In the role of Soo-rin is Sin Eun-soo, who passed the 300:1 audition. She hasn't had much experience as an actress but her girly image and ample emotions drew herself attention. Sin Eun-soo said, "The agency told me to go for an audition so I did and I was very surprised to have passed it although I have little experience. Kang Dong-won and producer Eom took good care of me on the set". About working with Kang Dong-won, she said, "It was very uncomfortable at first, but now it's a lot better. My friends only ask about Kang Dong-won and not about my role". Eom said, "She didn't get cold feet in front of the 100 or so actors and staff. She's from heaven. She did great from the beginning". The young Seong-min is played by Lee Hyo-je from "The Last Princess" and "The Priests". Kim Hee-won takes on the role of Soo-rin's step father, Kwon Hae-hyo plays Baek Ki, the detective in charge and Eom Tae-hwa is Seong-min's friend Tae-sik. cr. On this day, fans queried about his real personality because netizens had dubbed him a 'sweet pumpkin.' When asked, "Are you the type to not give false hope?" he replied, "That's right. I'm the type to quickly cut things off." Also, Park Kyung Lim asked him about plans to appear in a drama. The actor replied, "I'm open to it," but also revealed, "Right now, my schedule for next year is completely packed.
