Today, the CD Shop Awards revealed their Top 11 choices selected from the previous 20 releases that were nominated for the year of 2013 (in this thread).  The winner of this year's Grand Prize will be revealed on March 6th.

I'm impressed that both of KANA-BOON's releases managed to stay in - I'm a bit more sure that they'll end up winning this year now.

OMG I was about to post this. 

 

It's a pretty good list. I've listened to the first 8 albums on the list. Sakanaction is my fave and Passpied is my second. As far as KANA-BOON goes, I am surprised that both of their releases made it to the final round. But this could be a good thing and and a bad thing. It's a good thing because it shows that both of their releases are worthy to be final nominees. It's a bad thing because it splits their vote. If they only had one record in the running, all the votes could go to that 1 record instead of going to the 2. I don't know maybe there record store workers will talk amongst themselves and put all their KANA-BOON votes towards 1 record.

I kind of have a like/dislike thing going on for KANA-BOON right now, but that is cool both of their releases got nominated.
