I'm seeing lots of fanpages or blogs that was just abandoned around 2010 or 2009, when I'm trying to find in English or Russian, even the most promising one suddenly stopped posting. Finding stuff from that time is easier from the international sources, but after 2010 I need to rely more on Japanese sources, to find material.

Yeah I remember I used to check livejournal often back then but now when I went back to it, most of the pages haven't been updated in a long time. I know some people who uploaded music and stuff got warned by JE but I don't know what happened to general news sites about them.

It's the combination of all these things.

Some tried to move to tumblr, but you can't have a healthy fan community on tumblr so it failed there.
