Why I love when Brave Brothers works with ElephantKingdom

You probaly know Brave Brothers and his many hits songs. Personnally, I really liked his works since 2014. The primary reason is that Brave Brothers rarely works alone. Under is agency Brave Entertainment, there are few producers/composers. So Brave Brothers must be see like the "master" and the others producers like his "disciples".

One of this "disciples" is called ElephantKingdom, who have a specific style really recognizable: he uses a lot "traditionnals" instruments instead of electronics, a very frequent line of bass (who sounds sometimes really similar). Another detail his that Chakun (from Electroboyz) does almost the background vocals by support the main singer during few lines (and the iconic "Brave Sound", the "Hey Hey Hey" and others little things who are the details that made the Brave Sound style) in the Brave Brothers/ElephantKingdom songs.

All my favorite Brave Brothers are 90% with an ElephantKingdom collaboration. You can find my personnal Best Of their collaboration songs:

The intro voice is not Chakun but Maboos (from Electroboyz too) the other iconic male voice for the "Brave Sound" intro. You can heard him who support Lena. The cymbals (0:00) are another detail from ElephantKingdom music production.

You can heard Chakun in background with his recognizable "Hey", "Oh" during the Chorus (1:02). The bass line during the chorus is the pure "ElephantKingdom style".

Once again Chakun who support Jimin directly on the intro. You can heard him during the chorus too (0:53). ElephantKingdom bass line once again.

ElephantKingdom bass line + Chakun "Hum Hum" (0:32) "Hey Hey" (1:23) + Maboos background support during Jimin rap verse (2:10).

SONGS FROM ELEPHANTKINGDOM WITHOUT BRAVE BROTHERS:

Cymbals into (0:00) + bass line + Maboos background vocals (0:46). Instead of Chakun the members do themselves the "Hey" (1:05).

The only song that I know with his name clearly said by Chakun (0:10). Bass line + Chakun background vocals.

Interesting and informative post, OP!  Although I've heard a lot of these songs before, I'll take a closer listen to the things you're pointing out.

Yes, Elephant Kingdom was great. RIP.  :._.:

What RIP!??!  Is this just in reference to AOA?

Yes, you can see ElephantKingdom really puts is style in the Brave Brothers songs. For the Bestie song it's not too my jam (too cute) but I can't resist to smile when I heard Chakun on the background ^^

Elephant Kingdom passed away last year after battling Cirrhosis.

What the fuck! I didn't know, what a sad new. I was so a fan of his songs. Brave Brothers will never have as good song as he composed with ElephantKingdom!

Heart Attack was also a bop too.

So the male's background voice is Chakun's voice? I hear it on every AoA singles including Excuse Me

Yes this is Chakun! You can heard him on "Can't Sleep" too :)

I hope so, you will know little details who made the "Brave Sound" and ElephantKingdom style.
