Physical pain during dreams is frequent for me. Just last night I dreamt of coughing up blood and I could actually feel the sensation of painful coughing. I also dreamt of someone pulling out my teeth lmao dont ask me how and it hurt, as if someone was realistically doing that. I felt it, but the pain was numbed somewhat (thank goodness). Most dreams which involve me being physically harmed always end before the pain registers though (like I get stabbed with a scythe but I wake up before the feeling of getting impaled on a scythe registers in my brain). The usual 'falling in dreams' and my stomach hurts or lifting as well, like that feel when you ride Disney's Tower of Terror. null 99 Posted February 2, 2014 Share Posted February 2, 2014 I once had a dream where a bomb/grenade exploded next to me and it was funny because I could see the heat wave coming in slow-mo while getting away, but after it hit me I had a very realistic and painful feeling of breathing fire/very hot air, but it passed and I bravely continued following my trustworthy African guerrilla sergeant. Once, though, I was having a normal dream that took a sharp turn into a nightmare completely out of nowhere. It happened at the very end, and I can't even remember the good part of the dream. But anyway, I was standing in the kitchen with my mom, with a very homely and nice atmosphere, and as I turned around to leave, Slenderman was standing there. Suddenly my vision went fuzzy and dark and I heard this terrible shill noise and it felt like my soul was being ripped out of my chest. Then I was in my bed, and I tried to sit up, but Slendy was at the foot of my bed, and it happened all over again. Then I woke up in my bed for real. It was the most acute pain I had ever felt in a dream, and so strong I couldn't forget it for a few days. I was terrified of going back to sleep again for a week and I felt awful during the day. I dreamt I got decapitated by a guillotine and remember feeling a lot of pain in the neck in the dream, when I woke up my neck was hurting a lot. I could feel the pain so much that I screamed and woke up because of the shock I guess. I don't know if that's how it really feels to be stabbed but there is a very uncomfortable sensation there.
