I'd take stupid risks but luckily the guy always turned out to be nice and looked exactly like his profile photo. When planning to meet up with your date, plan how to get your friend(s) involved whether it be following the 2 of you around anonymously (maybe that's extreme IDK) or casually tell them, "Hey I'm meeting this person from online, if I'm not back by 11pm call me & if I don't respond within the next half hour, call the cops."
