THE TOP 9 Underrated Songs by SNSD

Everyone is waiting in agony for SNSD's comeback, so we gotta quench our thirst. To do so, I put together this scientifically supported list of the top 9 underrated SNSD songs. This list is ordered by jamnosity, with the last being the best.

9. It's Fantastic!

Originally an OST song sung only by JeTiHyun, SNSD added "It's Fantastic!" to their tours and even performed a Japanese version. This song showcases a warm-hearted melody and optimistic lyrics about a lost love.

8. Lazy Girl

Slight island vibe makes you envision Jessica lying in a hammock sipping on a coconut margarita. Can I just say that Seohyun's voice in this song makes my jibbles quibble. Perfect for your 9 year old daughter's summer sleepover bash. Best cutesy song on The Boys.

7. My Best Friend

SNSD doesn't just sing about oppa! They show love to their chingoos too. In "My Best Friend", they mix R&B and pop rock influences with their signature cute style. The choreo is the most adorable thing, and that's why I'm linking the practice version so deal with it.

6. Show Show Show

So I edited this list to add this gem. I can't believe I forgot, It's simply a jam.

5. Sunflower

Yayyyy you made it past the cute songs! You're doing so well, hang in there, it'll be over soon ^_^ Another neglected treasure from The Boys album, "Sunflower" is gentle yet effective. Feather-light vocals are the focus in this song, with an emotional chorus and strong bridge.

4. Beginning

Oh, boy... the forgotten gem of SNSD's 1st full album. Every member sounds fantastic in this song, giving a strong womanly vibe in the verses and a delicate, slightly cute vibe in the chorus.

3. Wake Up

The "Trick" of 2010, hailing from the glorious Hoot mini album. Intense synth sounds and drums, and a haunting, addictive chorus. I used to "Wake Up" singing this song every morning for about a week. Apa.... Nappa....

2. Promise

This beautiful R&B ballad got like no love and I'm really surprised. Other songs on this list have their flaws, but there's nothing I'd change about this song (well... there's Tiffany's high note in the bridge but you get what I mean ._.). All the lines were distributed appropriately, and the ad-libs got me like...

1. Reflection

Now I know this song isn't completely unknown or unappreciated, but honestly this is one of their best Japanese songs yet. I'd probably put it in the top 5. I really like the end where each member takes a turn singing. The only gripe I have with this song is all the English. If Reflection doesn't make you wanna dance, you must not have legs. I wish they would've kept this song for the third Japanese album and released it as a single instead of L&G. Reflection needs to be playing in every nightclub in Asia for the next three years.

If anything, they are nothing much but ordinary girls. There really isn't anything special about them separately. Their music isn't anything groundbreaking as well, which fits who they are individually. For some they are the embodiment of generic, but they also embody the fact that there is nothing wrong in being basic.

Promise was boring imo. Their group ballads lately have been lacking. I don't like it when groups since choruses in ballads. A type of song like Star Star Star is ideal for me. There is no group singing and you get to hear all the voices.

Wake Up is FLAWLESS though. I understand why Hoot was the title track, but Wake Up is better imo. Hoot is just more title track material because the chorus is catchy as hell

Since when is Reflection underrated?

Might not be underrated but like Regina said

I agree with Sunflower and Reflection. Reflection is one of my favorite songs of all time. It deserves to be praised anytime, anywhere.

*Also, where is Express 999?

Well Express 999 is a SONE favorite

Since when is Reflection underrated?

Since it didn't hit #1 in all 7 continents.

This song is garbage, I'd actually say that it's overrated
