PLEASE STOP WITH THE 'everything is sexy' WHINING

There are two reasons why they should.

1. It used to be much worse 10 years ago back when girl groups like Jewelry used to wear MUCH skimpier outfits than they do now. The industry's self-inflicted censorship to "clean up" their public-facing image and the boom of the interest in KPOP happened around the same time so there is this perception that KPOP has always been this clean, pristine genre of music. The truth is that the concepts that Girls' Day, Rainbow Blaxx, AoA, etc are doing now wouldn't have batted an eye in the early-mid 2000s.

2. The entire industry has ALWAYS been about sexiness. Cute concepts are just as sexually charged as sexy concepts, just in a different way.

Sexy in Kpop is beginning to be overdone. Now you have Korean girls with the faces of 10 years olds (not saying as an insult, just them Asian genes) humping the ground and showing leg almost up till their crotch area, and it just doesn't look or feel right.

Of course international Kpop fans just appreciate anything that isn't wearing clothes whether it's tacky or not. It's MORE than obvious majority of those girls are NOT comfortable with their concepts and are forced by their company to sell and everyone here makes it seem like those concepts are what they live for. They're the same people who go around saying it sucks that companies make their idols do too much.

Like you guys are feeding into it by praising any Sexy concept to come out of Korea no matter how shitty the song is. As long as the video has girls in minimal clothing it's 5-6 pages of "OMG I LOVE IT SO SEXY!"

Kpop is becoming bland because of it.

There is nothing wrong with having a sexy concept, the whole reason behind these concepts is to present an image that is appealing to people. A cute concept is no different to a sexy concept in terms of the purpose it serves, it is playing on what people like. I find it more awkward to watch girls forcing out this over the top cute image.

lol I love sexy concepts 'cause it usually goes with catchy songs

currently jamming to rainbow, aoa and dalshabet tbh

Apink's and other cute group's songs bore me to death but I still don't bitch everytime there's a new release like that. I just ignore it, I promise it's not that hard to do

Actually kpop is a lot less sexier than it used to be. In comparison to early-2000s kpop, these recent sexy concepts are pretty tame tbh.

Why do people always mention that girls don't want to do sexy concepts? Some of the girls say they don't like doing cute/aegyo either... This is what they signed up for when they became an idol: little to no control over the artistic vision/image.

Since when are the only concepts cute and sexy though?
