What the night sky will look like in +3.75 million years

This is what our night sky will look like in +3.75 million years, after the newly found galaxy Andromeda almost completes its collision with the Milky Way galaxy, which is currently in process. The galaxy is moving towards us, which leaves scientists baffled.

This is how it will look like in +4 billion years, when the collision has happened

Because stars in these galaxies are far apart, it is very likely our solar system will survive this collision untouched. It is not known about our other solar systems, though.

everybody will probably be dead anyway.

Maybe. In +3.75 million years the Earth's surface will be very similar to that of Venus because of the sun's warming.

lol actually it would look more like this

YAS GO POLLUTION!!!! yeah it's supposed to be all black

Also, it will take another 4 and a half billion years for the sun to die and swell into a red giant (and very possible swallow the earth, if not, sear the crap out of us)... we may very well still be alive by then.

EDIT: nevermind, the wiki page said the Earth would be too warm... never knew that the sun was increasing in luminosity? o.o

Check out this vsauce video too, it goes more into this:

Is it being pulled towards us or are we being pulled towards it?

it should be both, both galaxies have gravity.

I don't think there's anything baffling about the fact that gravity is in work here pulling these 2 galaxies together just like the 23428349283498 others in the universe (I'm pretty sure scientists agree on that? idk I used to be interested in this stuff in elementary school)

but I think what's baffling is how in general, galaxies are not only speeding away from each other (due to the big bang) but accelerating away from each other, and that's where dark energy and all that confusing and "baffling" stuff comes in.
