can you respect someone in school that takes less than 6 classes and work at minimum 35 hours a week?

respect

Where I come from, school is supposed to last 8< hours. I don't know about respect but I would find that person lazy. No comment about work since I myself don't have a job yet

you have obviously never been to college because there is no 8 hour school days in college unless you personally sign yourself up for 8 hours of classes every day.

Taking classes AND working at the same time? Of course. Taking classes to benefit their education & their future without a job? Of course. Working to provide a hot meal for themselves/them & their family without being in college? Of course.

What's wrong with someone working less than those numbers of classes, and/or those numbers of hours at work?
:imstupid:

YES, definitely mad respect for them cause they had the decency to put aside some free time for themselves to have a social life instead of wasting their youth on things that can wait

I don't really get the question. What is there not to respect about hard work and perseverance? I could understand if the question was not endorsing/approving overworking but still that does not mean not respecting that person.

Or do you mean because the individual overload means they don't have the adequate time and stamina for group projects and such?

6 classes is academic overload in my college and 35h/w working full-time so I'd be taking some time management pointers and buy them coffee because damn if that's not mad dedication. :omg:
