Do you think KARD will be the coed version of BTS in terms of popularity?

I think I'm seeing a similar trajectory here. Sure their concepts are a world apart but what I mean is their popularity pattern.

Like BTS, KARD is becoming a big hit with international fans first.

Like BTS, international fans were drawn in by the KARD's music and are staying after seeing the personality and dynamics of the members.

Like BTS, KARD seems to be utilizing social media to promote themselves more.

Why is Korea sleeping on them  :derp:  Will their career end up like BTS? Bcoming big with intl fans first then hitting it big in Korea eventually?

I guess only time can tell

I already love them based on what I've seen so far...I really hope their next release will be just as good, if not better than Oh NaNa so I can honestly call myself a stan

While a lot of people like KARD  alot of it was hype from being a coed group, so....it depends on their music and whether i-fans keep liking their music.

KARD will probably struggle with a Korean fanbase since it is coed....BTS may not have been huge but had some Korean fanbase. In KARD, it will be hard because fangirls will feel insecure about their oppa/unnie being in a group with someone of the opposite sex.

BTS music appeals more to the West as well but if KARD plays their kards right they can definitely have that sort of thing happen. I can see them getting big in Korea too but they need better music first to appeal to both.

I hope they will. I like their concept.

actually, yes!

they nearly have 200,000 subscribers on their channel and their Youtube views are growing. For a group that didn't formally debut, they are force to reckon with.

You know how many subscribers on YT had 4MINUTE and yet they disbanded because the group wasnt doing that well... YT does matter only for nugus, not for a group from big name company which is going to hit it big.

It's too early to tell. I did like Kard's debut song, but I don't know if they'll keep releasing songs like that. They're definitely receiving a lot of hype, so I don't know if they next song will be as good and imo. It also depends if the company promotes them well too.
