For people afraid that LOONA's company will run out of money or not no they won't run out of money that quickly

For several reasons:

1. They're a subsidiary of Polaris Entertainment which means their parent company is Ilgwang Group if you google it they are a private arms military company that has deals with South Korea's government to answer your question no they ain't broke or have limited finances

2. Their headquarter is located in Gangnam area a rich area why would you think a nugu company with limited financial capabilities are having an office there? for references this particular district is where SM JYP Cube and FNC offices are.

3. The MVs for several of Loona members particularly Haseul and Hyunjin are shot in foreign countries and they are scheduled to have like almost 15-20 MVs in total predebut wise no broke company would plan that with predebut members and nugu hypes which means financial wise they have nothing to lose if it flops

4. This isn't the first time this kind of strategy has been used Woollim indirectly gave hint of Lovelyz by releasing singles for Baby Soul, Jin and Jiae and even discreetly put them on several variety shows such as Immortal Songs 2 and Running Man and giving them MVs and featuring with famous names.

I mean obviously if they planned it and started it out already, that means they have enough resources to carry it out, otherwise they wouldn't have began it in the first place. It's actually quite smart, they're already catching the attention despite coming from a completely unknown company.

i only knew they were a subsidiary of polaris, didn't know about the other stuff until you mentioned it in the other thread since i know nothing about polaris aside from ladies code + clara. i figured there had to be some huge investor(s) or something behind blockberry, but damn the scale of wealth is even bigger than i thought. hopefully this quashes the fears ppl have about the group/company.

From what I can see so far, they full of visual, I can see many fanboy move on to them, especially from another visual group stan like twice, and I can see Loona also snatching many CF from twice, so money probably will be the least of their problem.

Things that still bother me is Polaris subsidiary company seems to have more money and have a better promotion. I mean, Ladies Code is not nugu, but not at the top either. Their promotion also feel lacking.

just because polaris dosen't make justice to their artists dosen't mean BBC won't,BBC has a total different team and CEO so lets trust them, also Ladies Code was gone for a long time so ofc their fanbase got smaller.BBC does promote Loona better than Polaris does with LC tho,you can see already posters with them at bus stations, they mv is played in the subway, they have fanmeetings and they already have a decent fanbase looking at the latest fansign.

This was very insightful but although I didn't know much about their agency (other that they were a subsidiary of Polaris) it would be silly to worry about their budget at this point; like if they were some idiots who planned this big scale promotions, before the actual debut, in a short budget and wondering if they will be able to pull it off through the 12 girls. One has be really naive if that was a serious concern.

As for the 4th point I just read on the main thread of LOONA that the CEO of their agency used to work at woolim, so all of this now makes more sense. When I saw Haseul's MV I though she was already the real deal! The quality in its production (both MV and music) was to a high standard and when you learn this are just some pre-debut promotions to introduce the girls is unenviable to wonder just who is behind a project of this caliber.

I want to know how much each members debt to the company for debuting them?? It's really scary if they must work without payment until they reach the break even point...

Don't worry, their fans will pay for it, maybe including you next year or 2 years later.

Twice cost 500k $ to debut this group already exceeded that among by 8 times. I hope it  works out, gl to them.

I wonder if the 4 million dollars they've spent is for producing all the songs and MVs for the entire year of the slow reveal up to the debut, or only for the already released content thus far? I assume they plan it all ahead of time and produce all the content, then simply schedule them to be released. Or at the very least produce enough content ahead of time to create a buffer in case they run into problems.

i think its 4mil for all? 4 mill for whats currently available would be too ridiculous
