The Big 3 In Q4 Of 2016

Q4 means October - December... 2016 brought a major generational shift with newer groups taking over and older groups slowly declining... The latest Quarter of the year was pretty solid in terms of quality but the releases have been little compared to the rest of the year.. which is understandable as its the holidays/awards season....

 

SM had a pretty solid line up for this quarter but tbh I've only checked out Taeyeon and CBX's title track which were both great... but I cant comment on my opinion on the other songs... and also theres too many SM Station songs so I'll just link it here

Sechskies made a comeback this quarter but their songs were remakes of their previous songs.. and Black Pink made a comeback short after their debut and showed us 2 different sides of them which I really really appreciated... Black Pink are seriously so stanworthy lol especially Jennie!!! and also Big Bang finally released their full album MADE but only included 3 new songs .. I loved Fxxk it so much.. it came at a time where I just finished with my hardest semester in university and seriously was perfect for the fuck it mentality I had lol...

Twice slayed me with their best song yet! and Ayeon had a beautiful duet with JB <3 and Yerin is continuing to show her artistry with 2 self composed singles for christmas

I liked a lot from Big 3 this year but my fave releases were from JYP

YG. I didn't like anything SM released in Q4, and for JYP I only liked TT.

In terms of music? SM for me because they had a lot of great solo releases I enjoyed (and still do), like taemin press it, jonghyun she is, luna free somebody, taeyeon why etc.
