The 1st album is at 90k+ right now and i think it'll reach 100k+ too Why the 100k+ mark is special ? usually a girl group rarely sell over 100k+/album. It took 3 years for a group good at physical like f(x) reached 100k+ (2013 pink tape in 2015). 2ne1, Kara can only reach that mark at their peak. But Twice. They did it easy like piece of cake. They even break 200k+ mark with the latest album. For a boy group, it's rare to reach 200k+/album. Only SJ, TVXQ/JYJ, Bigbang, EXO, BTS and SHINee can do that (It took 5 years for SHINee Sherlock to do that and that's their only one album). And the group i mentioned are the biggest groups of their era ----> huge fandom - they release 3 title tracks and all 3 reach 1 million download in short amount of time. And they're still on the chart. ------> huge korean recognition - they release 3 MVs and all 3 reach 100 million views -------> huge intl recognition - TWICE has been confirmed to have already has signed onto 10 endorsement deals. -----> That's how girl groups make money https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_r02CBjxyc they have crazily amount of fans to hold a tour -----> That's how boy groups make money Unless there is a member leave the group, they will still rule 2017. People can drag them for being "talentless" or whatever but for a girlgroup, these are amazing feats.
