My parents is trying to make me inherit their law firm.

 

But i want to further my master in international law & human rights. Then, work with UN or the govt.

Why not just do the masters, work as a lawyer for a bit to specialise and then work with UN/govt? It's so hard to do anything with the UN at entry level, idk about government though.

Sounds good.

My parents also suggest me to do my master & phd while practicing as a lawyer first.

Then, after phd, they'll let me do what i want.

But once i start working with them, the chance to do what i want after that seems nonexistent.

Oh well, i'll just go with the flow i guess.
