Maybe u can get some insight. Or maybe all IC eps cuz that shows gave lot of lessons. I see it as he's drawing parallels between the past events of where the Korean navy stood up against odds to fight the Japanese to the Korean people rising up against corruption. I mean they were literally tasked with talking about history and politics for this challenge. It's not like he randomly released this on his own for no reason.
