I have very little understanding of Indian music, but I guess it goes.

I use "Composer - Name of the piece" for the index, so please tell me how should I add these pieces?  :derp:

these songs.....theyre film songs...but the ragas[melody is a rough translation] are composed 100s of years ago..origins are obscure

but here u go

1st song

K.V Mahadevan - Shankara (Naadasharirapara) rendition by SP Balasubramaniam

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sankarabharanam#Soundtrack

2nd song

G Devarajan - Harivarasanam rendition by KJ Yesudas

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harivarasanam

its important to mention the rendition because there are thousands of ppl who will sing these and noone can claim copyright...

Oh, it's my first time hearing it. Love it.

Feel free to tell me if there's anything I can do to improve the thread.  :)

Hello, new here~

It's nice to see some real music on OH  :donthinkso:

Anyways, here is a piece I really enjoy [Chopin - Scherzo No. 2, Op. 31]

The performer's name is Alex Beyer, and he's a math major and music major doing a joint program between Harvard and New England Conservatory  :ahmagah:

btw he is only TWENTY years old...so amazing  :rlytearpls:
