eh... i don't see their hype.. probably because i've seen too many chinese period dramas. korean ones are so lacking in comparison..

Seungho looks too mature to be paired with Sohyun. She's going to end up looking like his younger sister. Then again, that's the roles these young actresses have been playing lately.

because the introduction teaser looks low budget af lol but that's considering the fact they just started filming a few days ago so there aren't much clips to release so we can't really see the cinematography yet and/or the director's talent at work lol

but YSH is only 23 y/o ã… ã…  plus he is playing a young prince here lol it's going to be a youthful melodrama, which is the genre where KSH and YSH are excellent at, so they're playing roles that just about fits their age. I'm still not really sold on the slightly vague plot but I'm looking forward to this because of the talent of the two leads

I seriously don't see an age difference at all... if I didn't know their real ages I would have assumed that they were the same age.and btw why is YSH's costume look so big on him? They both look beautiful though!

It's the Joseon era dude. The clothing, accessories, makeup, etc of that era isn't as spectacular or extravagant as the Goryeo era or Silla dynasty. Plus both Chinese and Korean cultures are different so...? Chinese period dramas are extravagant af with their costumes and everything but the plot is usually really lacking and it's cringey as well. Also most of the time, the cinematography of Chinese period dramas or actually Chinese dramas in general are...??? No offense lol

Depends on what kind of story you are looking for? The Princess Weiyoung is really great but it's full of petty drama and scheming which might lead people to dislike it. I would recommend 100% Nirvana in Fire. The Imperial Doctress is such a good show as well. Nirvana in Fire doesn't revolved around love. The love is more of a side story in there vs the other 2 dramas. The Empress of China is good but very long .

I'm not saying they kdramas dont have cringe plots or scripts as well lol but at least they can deliver??? lol ok you have your opinion, i have mine. I'm not sold at the whole cdramas thing, you're not down for kdramas. If you're not hyped for this drama then ok lmao

I'm really excited for this because i always wanted them to work together again after missing you.i'm not really fond of saeguk dramas but i will watch this just for my sohyun and seungho.

It might be because he has a history of being paired up with older actresses but I always thought Yoo Seungho was older and now I just can't see him as someone young even though I know his real age. He still looks really mature... and soo hyun looks so young. I don't think I like this pairing
