I tried to give a chance to other genres and im so glad i did it, i've discovered some great post-rock bands like Mono, TWDY, EITS, etc some black metal bands like Funeral Mist, Inquisition, Watain, Vinterland and many more! Also not to forget about kpop, ofc i have listened to most (if not all) of kpop releases this year but there are not much i like from so i will just keep it simple, i'll just mention Twice. Twice's both releases this year are really good. Not much a fan of their title tracks but i love their side tracks more. Also Gugudan's diary is the BEST side track that has released this year, fight me if you're not agree with this (ok just kidding there are also Day6's First time, Luna's Galaxy, BAP's Carnival, Gfriend's Distance, Davichi's Pet,...and dammit the list is getting longer i'll just stop here lol). Thats it for kpop i guess. Check my chart for more. I just noticed most of my favorite korean releases this year are mostly ballad. If i were to list them, it would be Kwon Jinah's 웃긴 밤, Kim Nayoung's From the heart, Ah Yeeun's self-titled album and ofc Park Hyoshin's I am a dreamer. I dont listen to that much khiphop this year but i do love some tracks from show me the money ah yea Sik-k's Flip is amazing and both B-free's Free From Seoul and Free From Seoul 2 are just as amazing. I havent checked much k-indie releases this year tbh lol im too lazy i'll just wait when koreanindie.com releases their best lists then i will check out everything in there. So how about you?
