Do broken bones hurt even after a while?

They do

I messed my collarbone up once and it still hurts at times or it could be the sensitive skin if you got stitches

I didn't get stitches

My left collarbone actually disintegrated in a freak accident 7 years ago but it doesn't hurt at all.

I always had weak ankles tho plus with RA things aren't looking so bright.

I just wanna go back to running ugh

If it doesn't heal properly. I broke my ankle 3 years ago, and I still feel some pain when I press on it

Nooooooo it was such a stupid accident tbh I wish I could go back in time and not break it

Did you give it enough time to heal?

Well the physiotherapist says it's still swollen but not too much... I'm seeing her again Wednesday so I'll ask

that's normal, even if it heals, when the it's cold your bones will really hurt

Doomed because Canadian then lol

Luckily I've never broken anything but I've heard it can hurt even after some years, specially in winter, so yeah you're fucked up. However you should probably be able to run again at some point, maybe you need a few more months to heal and then you might need to start slowly because you're not going to have the strength and endurance you had before injuring your ankle. I've also seen in a program about broken bones getting thicker at first and then they go back to it's original size, I don't remember how much time it takes but no wonder you're having balance issues.

Yeah,i hurt my knee in high school & ut still hurts, specially walking up stairs or putting to much pressure on it. Even now i cant run at full speed because my knee will pop out its socket,on the slightest change of uneven ground.
