Typical JYJ fan level posting here I see.

Sales during the past week Monday-Sunday are reflected on the upcoming music shows this week on Wednesday-Sunday.

But JJ obviously won't win on them since his songs are, as always, doing terribly bad on the digital charts as nobody except his hardcore fans are there for his music.

Oh dmn, as much as I loved your effort to increase comments in this thread  , I'd have to disagree with you.  In case if anyone forget, Just Another Girl was nominated for no.1 in music bank despite having zero prmotions (tv being the main channel to increase public's awareness for the song).

And that was all because of CD sales, not because of digital sales:

You don't understand how the points work.

In total, there are 200,000 point handed out.

65% (130,000) digital points

20% (40,000) broadcast points

10% (20,000) viewer vote points

5% (10,000) album points

But this is how they're handed out:

In the count for number of albums sold:

JaeJoong made up 45.53% of all albums sold that week, so he gets 4,553 album points (45.53% of the 10,000 album points).

Troublemaker made up 9.79% of all album sold that week, so they get 979 album points (9.79% of the 10,000 album points).

In the count for digital sales

JaeJoong made up 0.460% of all digital sales that week, so he gets 598 digital points (0.460% of the 130,000 digital points).

Troublemaker made up 3.727% of all digital sales that week, so they get 4,845 digital points (3.727% of the 130,000 digital points).

When someone says how it's 65% digital and 5% albums, so albums are not important... Then that person has not understood how the scoring system on Music Bank works so that person is terribly wrong.

PS. Also, both Troublemaker and JaeJoong had 0 in viewer scores, because viewers can only vote on the songs that charted the previous week, so all new songs alway have 0 in that category.

And Troublemaker had 449 points in the broadcast score, so even if JaeJoong would have had as much Troublemaker would still have won.

This time, he will probably have less points for album sales and even less points for digital, so he's not gonna win anything.

Why do you feel the need to come into a thread about JYJ with your opinion that means nothing to anyone?

His songs don't do terribly bad on the digital charts. Don't exaggerate, your unwarranted hatred is blinding you.

Sunny Day did extremely well for someone who is blacklisted and can't promote on TV and charted for a very long time.

Secondly, you do realize that Just Another Girl was against Trouble Maker for #1 on Music Bank a while ago, right? But as usual, Music Bank didn't invite him to attend or even let him know that was the case, because he is still blacklisted.

Furthermore... I don't see what your point is. Jaejoong is extremely successful regardless of digital charts. You always try to downplay his achievements, and yet the achievements are so huge that they speak for themselves and that's probably why you attempt to downplay it. Are you bitter?

Come back again when another idol you know of has his own fashion designing company, owns restaurants and cafes, designs his own clothes, and is in complete and 100% control of his own decisions regarding his music, concerts, etc, down to the very mic stand he wants to use and the way he wants the stage to look.

We'll talk then.

He outsold B1A4 who's been snaggin everything.  So unless you told me B1A4's digital is heavenly, Jaejoong could win.

And I think I said this before, but you didn't understand since you're too keen with all those numbers and trying proving how bad Jaejoong is with his digital sales.  Public will only knows about a song if it was promoted on tvs.  How do you think people will know about any artist & their song if they didn't go on air?  But still, even without that, Jaejoong can go on par with those male idol groups digitally.  You can stay bitter all you want, but you can never deny the potential Jaejoong holds.  You aren't the only bitter one.  If people didn't realize the potential he withheld and foresee how far he can goes, we would've seen him on tv longgg ago.

it is not a matter of who sells more physically, it is a matter of how much they sell compared to other artists' sales in the same week.

music bank's score (physical sales score for exemple) is the percentage of how much a certain artist sold from all the albums that were sold the previous week aka share of the whole market. even tho JJ topped this week he wont get a big score because his share of the market isnt big enough because he isnt dominating the physical market, there are other artists selling big numbers and arent far behind JJ (B1A4 & TVXQ) and their physical scores will be close to each other. his score wont be high enough to make up for his lack of high digital score, boradcast points etc so he really doesnt have a chance to win or to be nominated

Then who's going to win?  lol.  If the market saturation for JJ is low, the other artist must've been low as well.  As for digital points, JJ's points (he was no.1 in Melon and other chart in some point) and the other (minus Girl's Day) are more or less the same.  Is youtube views counted?

And don't worry, I meant no malice in this.  I can differentiate between someone who truly speaks her mind and someone who didn't in a heart beat ;)

Someone doesn't seem to understand that the real reason Jaejoong and Junsu both aren't able to promote on music shows and are rarely nominated for anything is because of under the table dealing from SoMeone with all the broadcasting stations.

that's his peak position, music bank takes sales of the entire week in account and others are selling better than him, besides there are other facotrs like broadcats points and viewer points which JJ doesnt have because a- it is his first week and that category is always @ 0 in the first week and b- he doesnt promote in music shows so he wont get points in that category. i dont know will win since i dont follow the charts or even watch music bank lol. i was just trying to explain to you how just because he topped the weekly chart it doesnt automatically mean he is illigible to win.

topping the chart =/= dominating it

WWW sold over 100k albums. I sold over 100k albums.

Jaejoong was also the only male soloist to top the charts with no idol promotions whatsoever, and his albums were dropped out of nowhere with no build up/suspense.

WWW was also at the end of the year.

And also, WWW's repackage was released this year, so the sales yearly will be split between the two versions.

I'd say that's dominating.

first of all i am talking about the repack and 2nd i am not trying to discrdit him. i am saying that he wont get a big score because there isnt a huge gap between him and the artists selling at the same time. what i meant by dominating the market is when a big physical seeler artist comebacks at a time when there is no competition at all, the gap between them and the rest of the sellers will be huge and they'sll get a super high physical score in Music Bank and that's not the case with Jaejoong this week

Jaejoong is #1 in the physical charts right now though, I mean. Even above the two groups at #2 and #3. But I guess you mean that his physical + digital score isn't enough combined?

But the digital score for B1A4 is not so high either(?) As far as I know, anyway.

Scores aside, there's a different reason as to why he can't promote/be nominated.
