I'm really bummed that were doing that this year instead of the traditional thing. It's just making me feel like Christmas isn't even happening this year. Christmas eve is sooo fun as well - I have two little sisters and we always bake a christmas cake, watch a christmas film and then get dressed up for our annual christmas eve family party! It's only small and goes on til about half 8 because my youngest sister is 8 and has to go to bed for Santa to come but it's so festive with candlelight, mulled wine and mince pies.
