Not quite as long as the gap between "C'mon" and "EPIC DAY", but yeah, it's been a while.  laugh.png   I'm also more optimistic about this album than I was the last, since I've liked everything B'z has put out this era, so we'll see what they come up with.

Ahhhhh! It's happening!!! To top this off, I'll get to see them promote the album this December!!!

5 Nov:

Nishino Kana - LOVE it (album)

She's never going to do away with the "Love" in the title. I think Otsuka Ai did this as well.

It's also the start of their 30th anniversary year, so I'm expecting them to play a lot of great stuff that tour.  Nice mix of old and new.

I almost forgotten that it's nearing their 30th anniversary laugh.png. Their 25th anniversary didn't seem like it was too long ago.

In any case, I'm hoping they'll also play their old stuff as well, particularly from their 7th Blues era if possible. But I think material from LOOSE and afterwards are more likely candidates.

"7th Blues" is my personal favorite B'z album (as I imagine it is for a lot of people).  I just love the ambition behind the record and how well it divides those segments of their career.  So I'll add my hope to the pile that they play at least a couple of tracks from that period.  At this point, I'm quite interested to see what "DINOSAUR" has in store, since "Seimei" and "Still Alive" were both pretty good appetizers in my opinion (and I'm kind of hoping that they use the title in a bit of a tongue-in-cheek fashion - like how they're now in some ways dinosaurs in the music industry laugh.png ).

I had a bit of a cackle over that analogy.

A bit off topic (This can be taken to PM if need be), but I recently had a blitz through SAS's discography from Nude Man to Sakura. I'm echoing your sentiments around their 90s material being very exemplary. In the manner my opinion differs is that I'm very partial to their 80s stuff as well.  I'm of two minds when it comes to where their best material is, but they've been quite consistent quality wise.

Funnily enough, the Hara Yuko solos are right up my alley as, and I've just discovered she had quite a few stints as a solo artist outside SAS albums, so I'm having a trawl over her material. Yokohama Lady Blues is an excellent start to my discovery.

I'll talk about in detail but that's probably best for PMs.

I'm only missing Killer Street, but I'll add that to my backlog.
