I really want to land a summer research position and get some experience on my resume. I've applied before but always rejected or no feedback from the hospital or company. shinramen 100 Posted December 22, 2016 Share Posted December 22, 2016 i would find the job posting for the research position you want, and see what skills they are looking for. make sure your cover letter highlights those skills, supported by your experiences (ex: classes you've taken, volunteer work you've done, other jobs/internships you've had). also talk about how this internship aligns with your professional goals and what you hope to get out of it. make sure there are no typos/grammatical errors. have someone look over it before you email it.
