Police have released a grandmother's desperate 911 call after a three-year-old boy was shot dead in a road rage attack. The call records the terrible moments as Acen King, 3, is taken out of her car and receives CPR. "My grandson's been shot!" Kim King-Macon screams. "Oh my God!" She only realised Acen had been hit after pulling up nine miles later at a shopping centre in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she raised the alarm. Police said she had been driving Acen and a one-year-old to do some Christmas shopping when another car came up behind her. Ms King-Macon says in the call: "I was at the stop sign and the guy blew the horn at me and I blew it back and he shot - but I thought he shot in the air. He shot in the car!" The suspect drove off in a black Chevrolet Impala. Ms King-Macon drove on for miles before she stopped outside a JC Penney store and finally saw that Acen had been shot in the neck. He died in hospital a short time later. "One shot was fired and it went through the vehicle and hit the child," said Steven McClanahan from Little Rock police. They tweeted that Ms King-Macon did not know the gunman. A $40,000 (£32,000) reward has been offered for information leading to a conviction, and a GoFundMe page has been set up to raise money for Acen's family. The gunman is described as tall, black and in his 20s. A two-year-old girl was killed in a road rage incident in Little Rock last month. Police are still looking for a driver who fired into the car she was in. They do not know if the two cases are related. "This is probably one of the most frustrating things you will encounter in your law enforcement career, when it involves children, particularly kids of this age," said Kenton Buckner, Little Rock's police chief. Was looking for the gofundme page and found an article where they were talking about a 2 year old girl who got shot in a similar fashion less than a month ago.
