Hmm.. so Ukiss was originally scheduled to perform on the 20th for the Olympics but it seems like they didn't perform afterall? I'm not sure if the list of performers was fake or if they got replaced? It's pretty messed up if that's the case. Ugh.. I just want to see Ukiss perform and get the respect they deserve.

Ah! I cry. Soohyun is such a great leader and person. I hope that the momentum keeps going for the boys and they start getting that recognition 

 

I want to see Kiseop with his purple hair in teasers already.

Soohyun is definitely one of the best leaders in kpop and I wish he got more credit for it. Eli recently did an interview and he mentioned how important Soohyun is to the group.

I don't understand what their company is waiting for. It's sad that they have to push the company just to release something in Korea. Plus I really want to hear more of Kiseop's songs.

 

Yes! I'm looking forward to purple haired Kiseop teasers too. The album will be released in a month so hopefully we'll start seeing some teasers soon.

By the way if anyone wants to listen to the full interview w/ Eli, here is some more info. He talks a bit about his debut and pre-debut days. The hosts kept congratulating him on Ukiss's tenth year since debut and it made me kind of sad knowing that Soohyun and Jun probably won't be with them for their 10th anniversary. Any way, it's a pretty interesting interview and I think it's worth checking out.

Kiseop's friend Do Jihan mentioned Kiseop in an interview so Kiseop showed his appreciation for his friend as well by posting pictures from Jihan's photoshoot on instagram, but his post has people going crazy in the comment section because he called Do Jihan his girlfriend again.lol Seriously though, imagine the visual impact these two would have if they did a photoshoot together?

Jun finally reunited with his Ukiss hyungs yesterday for their fanmeeting! His hair is back to brown, meanwhile Hoon and Kiseop have colorful hair now lol.

Also, this is a bit late but it has officially been one year since Kevin graduated from U-kiss. Member departures are never easy, but I'm glad that both are continuing to stay in touch and release music. I know there have been many doubts about U-kiss's ability to continue as five  but here is proof that they will continue to work hard and make fans proud.

It has already been seven years since Hoon joined U-kiss! I'm so proud of how far he has come. It's hard to believe that he was originally a ballad singer since he was able to quickly adjust to U-kiss's choreography. I know he, along w/AJ, initially received quite a bit of backlash when he joined Ukiss but I think he has contributed so much to the group.

Side note *sorry I haven't been on as often as I would want to, I just started a full time job and its taking most of my time. But I'll try to be more active.

Avex actually uploaded the MV today! One thing I love about Japanese promotions is that they release the mv early. It's only the short version though.

 

Yes, I'm so proud of Jun!! When I heard that he was turning down acting jobs to focus on the unit I was worried that he'd be missing out on great acting opportunities, but I'm glad that the opportunities are still there for him. I'm just worried how he's going to handle filming for the drama, UNB promotions and Ukiss promotions at the same time. Hopefully he'll have some time to rest.

 

That's awesome! Even though I love having someone to talk to about Ukiss updates, I completely understand if you can't post as much, so no need to worry about it

Hi, I been reading this thread for awhile but never make an account until now. Love U-Kiss, big fan of them. I first learned of the group from watching Dongho on Idol Maknae Rebellion; I became a fan of him first and then start learning about the other members. I'm also a big fan of J-pop so I really like their Japanese comebacks. Will always miss Zander, Kibum, Dongho, AJ and Kevin, so sad Jun never got to meet some of them(if AJ had passed the unit, I wonder what their interaction will be like?).

Hello! Welcome to the thread Thanks for sharing. It's always nice to talk to another Kissme so feel free to post here as often as you want. U-kiss's Japanese songs are seriously amazing. I actually got into U-kiss when they released Tick Tack (I was more into J-rock at the time and U-kiss's Tick Tack mv was a recommended video lol) so I missed some of the heart break of Alexander and Kibum's departure from the group. I'm really glad that they all continue to support each other and that they're still active on social media though. I've actually been wondering if I should share updates on the former members here every once in a while. What do you think?

 

It definitely would have been interesting if Jun and AJ worked together on the unit. I was actually surprised that Aj didn't pass the audition since he sings and raps really well too.

Thank you  none of my friends or family are into k-pop so it's very nice to have someone to talk to lol

Man Man Ha Ni was their first song I got to know since it was promoted in a lot of variety shows back then. Tick Tack is so awesome, they should had promoted the  Korean version as a title track too and not b-side. 

 

Since their 10 year anniversary is coming up soon, I think it be nice to update a little of the former members. I was noticing on twitter some Kissme were posting about OT10 and for a moment I was so confused until I got that they included everyone  

 

I was shock about AJ too and they didn't even show the whole audition.

Hehe same.

I feel like Man man hani is one of those classic Kpop songs that never gets old.They still play it whenever U-kiss appears on Korean shows even though it's been nine years since it was released  lol. Tick Tack is honestly one of my favorite U-kiss songs. Even though I like both their Korean and Japanese songs, I tend to enjoy their Japanese releases a little more. It's a shame that so many of their more recent Japanese releases have gone unnoticed (at least by international fans). Sometimes I wonder how their Japanese songs would do if they were promoted in Korea too.

 

Alright thanks for letting me know.   Wow I can't believe this is already their tenth year. It's such a huge milestone in their career considering all the obstacles they've had. I'll be sure to include some updates on the former members as well.

Nice!. I can't wait to see it. Have you heard the full versions of No Regret and Compass yet? Ah!, they sound so good. Even though those are the only new songs from the album, I think LINK has a good combination of songs. Now that Soohyun is enlisted it's nice that they included his solo songs in the album as well.

I know it barely three months since Soohyun has left but I miss him so much. His birthday video was so sad, I wish he didn't have to keep apologizing to Kissme. 

I know, it kills me every time they apologize. Especially when they feel like they're not working hard enough when in reality they've been working so hard all these years. Speaking of Soohyun, he left another message on the fancafe!

Honestly, I was worried about that too. When Soohyun enlisted and Jun was doing well on The Unit I figured the remaining members would focus on solo projects or rest until they were all together again, but I'm so happy that they had a comeback.
