here’s a fanaccount of U-Kiss’ promotions yesterday \o/

 

about the song: as you might know, their new song is not out yet, but we were really lucky we got to watch them perform it already. I’m sure you will all go crazy over the song (and the choreoooo)!! 

it’s not sweet or playful, as I expected it would be. much, much better: both the song and the choreo are super powerful (so much swag!) and the lyrics are pretty much like ‘yo, get your eyes off my girl. i know she’s flawless, but she’s mine, so don’t you dare look at her.’ 

it sucks that it is stuck in my head and I can’t listen to it anywheeeeeeeere asghajsgdd ;A; so we’ll all just have to be patient for a bit longer ♡

as for the happenings of the day: I’ve never been so stressed before.

 

we went to SBS in Sangam-dong, to put our names on the list for MTV The Show, early in the morning. after that, we rushed over to Seocho (took us around 50 minutes to get there), to put our names on the list for Simply K-pop, as well. 

since we had to attend our classes at university, we just ran off as soon as we had put our names on the list, and spent another hour on the subway to get there /o\ 

after class, we didn’t have much time left either, so we just had lunch and headed back to Sangam-dong around 4PM, to line up.

when fan staff showed up, we all lined up outside of the building, together with other fanclubs, but not before we were handed the fanchants for “내 ì—¬ìžì•¼â€ and got to listen to the song on fan staff eonni’s phone. for me, it was love at first listen. and I think most of the other fans there felt the same :D the fanchants are super easy too!

the best part about all of it: it was my first time going in as an official paid Kissme. the NK (No-Kissme) on my wrist finally became a K (Kissme) ;A; it might seem like such a small thing, but it really means a lot to me ♡

 

anyway, for SBS MTV The Show, there were 23 of us. still a pretty low number, but when fanclub staff asked us, who of us would definitely go to Simply K-pop (for which we would have to get to the other side of Seoul within 30 minutes) directly afterwards, all 23 people raised their hands and staff eonni seemed speechless there for a while, lol. who cares about the numbers of fans. quality over quantity. got to love this fandom ♡

 

when U-Kiss came up on stage, we were all going crazy. AJ’s bandana and spiked up hair. Hoon’s red and Soohyun’s blonde hair. Kiseop’s open shirt that showed his abs. Eli and Kevin with the biggest smiles on their faces. everything was just too good to be true ;~; they introduced themselves to the audience, waved at us fans and started their performance. negl, I had tears in my eyes. their performance was so fierce and powerful and the song was even better live and agfsdjdsgfd. just. U-Kiss. ♡

they waved again when they walked off the stage and later came back with black outfits, to record a second time. again. nothing to say but: we were blown away.

 

after all the other artists finished recording too, we could finally get out and rush to Arirang. that was around 8:45PM. Arirang started at 8PM. the subway would take around one hour to get there. stress. our only option left: a taxi. and it worked \o/ we actually got there just in time to line up and go in with the fanclub again. this time, there were 40 Kissmes, which we were really happy about :D

 

so when we got inside the studio, it was Eli’s turn to record his MC parts and boy never did a better job. backed up by all his fans sitting in the audience, he really seemed to get a boost. as for the rest of the show, there are so many things that happened, that I’ll try to list the events by the members (this is already such a long post omg @@)

 

1. Soohyun

everyone loves the super sweet leader Soohyun. and he got to feel it a lot yesterday. people’s cheers (including mine) at his parts were incredibly loud and he deserves it so, so much. such a great and passionate artist. such beautiful looks and soul. can’t help but love him. ♡

- he asked fans if the song was good and smiled so wide when everyone yelled that it was indeed very good

- his first reaction to all the foreigners in the audience was to speak a bit of English and ask us: “would you like something to drink?†lmao

- one time, a fan yelled “Soohyun-oppa, you’re so cool!†and Soohyun playfully answered: “I know!â€

- another time, when he was getting his mic fixed, someone yelled “Soohyun-oppa, you’re so handsome!†and he just shook his head in disagreement (ㅠㅠ it’s always the same). all of us scolded him for that, lol.

- he really smiled a lot yesterday and seemed to be in a great mood. he also showed us his leader side when he gave AJ some tips for his performance and incited a “fighting†cheer with everyone

 

2. Kiseop

this cutie will always be a cutie. he got a lot more confident and danced around all the time, showing off his moves. he also came over to the audience a lot and waved, talked and played with the fans. Kiseop = fan-pabo #1

- at one part, he came over to greet the fans and stood in front of the audience, when a foreign fan asked him “how are you?†Kiseop always panics when he has to speak English, so he just smiled cheekily, turned around and creeped off in the funniest way ever, lololol

- when some fans told Kiseop that his abs were great, he acted shy and covered his belly, saying “don’t look, it’s too embarassing~â€

 

3. Eli

every time I see Eli perform, I’m amazed by how much his rap has improved. anyone still remember the Eli in ‘Not Young’? yeah, I think he’s nowhere to be found anymore, lol. Eli always talks a lot with the fans at Simply K-pop. he’s making awkward jokes and everyone loves it ofc \o/

- when the band left the studio, Eli came over to shake hands with all fans and even leaned over the whole audience to reach the fans sitting in the back rows

- Eli took the chance to play a prank on Kiseop, by kicking his butt as he was bending down to stretch

- he also broke out in his own rap parts over and over again, enjoying the cheers from fans, haha :D

 

4. AJ

I think AJ was the hero of the day, yesterday. not because I’m biased. just because he was just being so genuinely sweet and thoughtful. he also started dancing and singing randomly all the time. like always, he studied the crowd and stared at every single fan in there, lmao ♡

- a fan asked AJ to share his drink with her and he asked if she didn’t have any water with her, to which she replied she hadn’t. he then went backstage for a while, only to come back with his arms full of water bottles, which he handed out to the fans. he asked everyone to please share the water, since there wasn’t enough for everyone. fell in love with him for the 266343427346th time there ♡

- he started singing Lim Chang Jung’s song (the guy whose MV U-Kiss made a cameo in) in a really deep voice and made everyone swoon ;~;

- like all the other members, AJ also shook the fans’ hands when they said their goodbyes and switched from Korean to English to Japanese to thank everyone

- at one point, AJ just randomly jumped through the studio.

- he beatboxed to “Mysterious Lady†and omg. it was perfect ;A; he also does such a great job at doing the back-up vocals in their new song btw ♡ multi-talented man

 

5. Hoon

the sweetest derpy dork of all. I don’t think there’s a single person in this world who wouldn’t fall for him after seeing him. he kept on coming over to talk to the fans and played around with the members a lot.

- just like Soohyun, Hoon seemed to feel the urge to say sth in English, when he saw all the foreign fans. it ended with him pointing at his hair and his shoes, saying “red. red.â€, which sounded more like “ledledâ€, haha ♡

- Hoon really sweats a lot, so when they were supposed to record their greeting, he told the staff to please wait and waddled over to their stylist really cutely, asking for tissues

- as soon as they walked into the studio, a fan started yelling Hoon’s name and he yelled back at her, saying “WHAT?!†lmao

- while AJ was beatboxing to Mysterious Lady, Hoon was excitedly waiting for his part to come up, but AJ stopped his beatboxing right before that, so Hoon complained that he didn’t let him do his part /o\

 

6. Kevin

this wonderful young man is also always busy paying lots and lots of attention to the fans. he greeted some fans he’d seen before and also asked new faces where they’re from. he’s just genuinely nice and interested in general.

- Kevin was singing Mysterious Lady, while AJ was giving him the beat. after Hoon complained about his part being cut, AJ continued, but Kevin was being a troll and sang Hoon’s part as well, so Hoon just playfully threw a fit, lololol

- he asked everyone if we were tired, and when people answered that they were, he pouted cutely and said “어떡해~†(what to do~)

 

…so many things happened, that I’m sure I forgot sth /o\ sorryyyy~ but this ended up being longer than I intended it to be, anyway. I just wanted to share my excitement and I’m sure you’ll all love the new song! ♡ the boys are still as sweet and hard-working as ever. let’s give them all our support and show them our love~ \^^/ U-KISS fighting~

I like how U-KISS always try new things and in my opinion they do it well. I think that's why a lot of ppl don't like them because they don't just stick to one genre. But that's what I like about them
