It must be real shocking and heartbreaking to have to go to a young colleague's funeral. I'm not sure how close they were, but Shinee and U kiss debuted within the same year and have worked on several variety shows and activities together. Even if they weren't super close, I'm sure it had a big impact on them.

It's going to be so strange without leader Soohyun, but I hope he stays safe and comes back quickly. On the brightside, it looks like the members recorded a short series which will be uploaded on v app.

How long is the enlistment period? 2 years? I will miss our strong/reliable & hilarious leader 

 

 

I can't wait to see the Vapp. It looks fun! I got it gets subtitles quickly. But even if it doesn't I'll still be watching it. LOL

Yes I believe it's around two years. Maybe a little less than that, but I'm going to miss him too I hope it goes by quickly. I'm glad that they're releasing the v app series. Ukiss is one of the few groups that I can watch interviews/ variety show from without subtitles and still manage to laugh my butt off, but subs are always very much appreciated too.

2017 has been a year of ups and downs for Ukiss and Kissmes. They've had some setbacks such as Kevin's departure, Kiseop's accident, and Soohyun's recent enlistment, but let's not forget all the good things that the year brought. Although they didn't have a Korean comeback in 2017, we got to hear three of Kiseop's compositions ("Fly," "Ready for U," and "You"). Plus, Jun has been receiving some much deserved recognition for his role in Avengers Social Club and the Unit. Let's hope that in 2018, we'll continue to see each member benefit from individual and group activities whether it be music, acting, hosting etc. Most of all, I hope that the members find happiness and health in the upcoming year.

Hello! Yes, the members are pretty close to each other. They still meet and support each other even if they aren't in the group anymore. Ukiss debuted in 2008 and have had several member changes since then. Right now the group consists of Kiseop, Eli, Hoon, and Jun . Their leader, Soohyun, is still in the group as well but he recently enlisted in the military. One cool thing about them that isn't really common among idols is that, Eli is married and has a son. He often posts updates of his son on instagram.

I'm so proud of Jun! Have you seen the pictures released for the next mission on The Unit?

This one in particular reminds me of "Stalker" era so much. The pose, the clothes, even Jun's hair is a similar color to Kiseop's during Stalker era. I wouldn't be surprised if Jun convinced the choreographer to add this move just so he could promote Ukiss again lol.
