Yay! Wow, that's quite a long time to wait but I'm sure it's worth it, especially for the bonus track. Glory is another pretty solid album in my opinion. Eli and Jun's unit songs were a nice addition to the songs that have been previously released.

Exactly. I can't believe the original was released almost seven years ago. I was excited for the 2018 version since Jun would be included but the two versions give off such different feelings even though the lyrics are the same. It's really interesting.

So Hoon and Kiseop's songs are available on ITunes and Spotify afterall! Looks like they did an event for their last release before enlistment and Jun came along hehe

Of course I'm not bored, if anything you've kept me from getting bored since this thread was pretty much dead by the time I joined. Now we've even managed to surpass 100 pages!

Haha me too especially since I love sweets. Although, a lot of those cakes are so pretty that I'd be afraid to ruin them by eating them laugh.png

Wow, it's really happening, I'm glad to see them being happy and having fun during their last few activities. 

 

 

Yeah, it's hard to get more people to come to the thread when there is no Korean comeback. I always find it a shame that people don't check out their Japanese songs since they are great.

150 pages is our next goal, I hope the other members will keep us busy.

True. I just can't believe how quickly the time went. I was still hoping NH would let them release a digital single in Korea before enlistment but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen.unsure.png 

 

Right, I get that their Japanese activities are difficult to follow but I never understood why some people straight up ignored their Japanese songs.

I hope they'll become more active on social media since the next couple of years will be without Hoonmornings and Seopnights.  Actually now would be a good time for Eli to take up his offer to create a youtube channel hehe

Even as Hoon was getting his head shaved they were acting silly. laugh.png It took me a while to realize that they used his hair to spell his name in the last picture.





So apparently his discharge date will be October 20, 2020. That's actually sooner than I was expecting!

Members' messages to Hoon

 

Some of their fansites went as well. I'll post a few fan taken pics in the spoiler.

Side note: I'm pleasantly amazed that they still have fan sites in Korea. They have to be some of the most patient and loyal fans to exist. It must be disappointing that the only times they were able to see the members this year were at the airport (on their way to Japan) and now that Hoon and Kiseop are enlisting. I've noticed other idols who are enlisting around the same time as Hoon and Kiseop are doing fan meets or releasing songs before they go. It makes me feel bad for not only their Korean fans but also the members because they've been wanting to do more for their Korean fans for a while now.

Even up until his enlistment social media king Kiseop has been posting on both ig accounts and doing ig lives (he didn't save the one from yesterday though) I've gotten so used to his frequent posts that it's going to feel empty for the next year or sounsure.png


On the bright side, it looks like Jun is preparing for his Korean debutsmile.png

Keep telling myself it's not actually that long, less then two years and we see them again. 

Me too rlytearpls.png It has only been a few days but I already miss them so much.

Same. I'm hoping the time goes by quickly.

 

 It's kind of sad, I'm always surprise to see Korean fans on UKISS social media. There usually only Japanese/English comments.

 

NH fault again, they can't even release one Korean song from them.

Right, usually the few Korean comments I've seen on their Youtube videos are asking about their Korean activities too.Unfortunately,  after seeing how much their Korean fanbase was neglected I can see why they don't have as much support in Korea as they used to.

 

The thing that worries me the most is that I don't know what NH plans to do with them. Sometimes it feels like they've given up on the group but then they'll randomly upload a video to be like 'hey we're not doing anything new but we're still here'. Fortunately U-KISS still has support from Avex and it looks like NH is actually going through with their plans to give Jun a Korean debut.

Yeah, the K-Pop industry is so over saturated right, it's no wonder their Korean fan base will be smaller.

 

I got that that feeling from NH too unsure.png , didn't last year there was news of them coming up with a new boy group.

 

So thankful to Avex. Other then short mv, they are great laugh.png

 

NH, better promote Jun and Eli.

I can't even keep up with all the groups that are debuting. I think the over saturation in the industry has had a big impact on their international fan base as well. The competition is crazy. I feel like now in order for international fans to even consider supporting a group the group has to consistently be releasing stuff and and everything has to have English subs otherwise they'll be dropped quick.

 

Yeah I think they were planning to debut their new group around September of last year but I haven't heard anything since then. I think their plan was to use some of the support the trainees got from Mix Nine to promote their debut but it's too late for that now.

I hope NH promotes both of them as well. I'm not sure if he's currently working with the other company he's signed to, but it would be nice to see Eli have more activities. He has been so quiet on social media lately it's almost as if he enlisted too. Also, I wish NH had done Jun's Korean debut first when he was appearing on various variety shows. He was gaining so much momentum in Korea but then he got shipped back to Japan and lost a lot of it. His fan base in Japan is already pretty established and Japanese fans are quite loyal so I think he could've had a successful Japanese debut even if it happened later.
