The members started filming a new Japanese show! I'm guessing it will be an ongoing show since there was a twitter account made specifically for it. It seems like it will focus on food and will air in January!

So I was recently checking out U-Kiss wiki page and it's so funny that I'm still the last one that update it. Last time I was updating that  Soohyun enlisted and no one else added since then  There is someone doing the discography section but not the front page.

Interesting. I hadn't checked it in a while but I hope it continues to be updated especially since there have been quite a few releases and events that happened since then.

It looks like they've finished filming their new show. The hosts that they worked with for the show seem so nice. They've been posting a lot of pictures with the members. (I thought of posting them all here but there is a lot!) I can't be certain but based on the translations, they've said a lot of nice things about the members and kissmes

I've watched it several times already and I'm still not sure what it's about, but it's festive and Ukiss is singing in the background so I have to agree

Jun was so hard working, I can't believe they make them kind of swim there.

 

I watch the cm a few times too and you're right, it's a Christmas market /festival. It would be great if they invite the group there.

I know, some of these variety shows are no joke. I'm glad he seems to have a lot of support though. They recently uploaded his self camera with some of his Goodbye to Goodbye cast mates So sweet! And his laugh hehehe.

 

That makes sense . That would be awesome if they got to visit. For some reason Ukiss and Christmas always seems like a good combo.

Summary on what she talked about:

 

1) The U-Kiss members all chipped in to help buy her a present back in 2011. They pooled money, and lent Eli about 50,000 KRW, which is about $44USD for him to buy a cake and a present for her.

 

2) Eli is a gamer, he loves playing computer games. He has about 6 computers at home. 

 

3) Eli and Minsoo are like cat and mouse. Whenever Eli scolds him and disciplines him, Minsoo would argue back until Yeon Soo has to intervene and calm them down.

 

4) Eli's most expensive purchase was for a keyboard. She did mention that Eli has been doing alot of composing lately, and that not only does Eli love the keyboard, his son does too. To the point where father and son would fight for piano time. 

 

5) Eli has a swiping habit lol. He tends to take the coins she laid out thinking it's free change. No matter how many years has gone, he still just swipes the change he sees lmao.

 

 

I'll also translate this part, since it has made several headlines/articles:

 

Yeon Soo mentioned how she was with Min Soo at a supermarket, and a few women came up to her saying that "your husband is young and handsome what if he cheats on you later?" She said it was fine for her to hear such words, but some even went up to their child and asked Minsoo "what if your father cheated on your mother one day?"

 

She mentioned that Eli was really shocked at what happened. He was away for a few days, and within those few days he decided to get a tattoo on his forearm. The tattoo was her modeling picture. 

 

She was pretty worried since Eli is still an active idol, and didn't want him to get into trouble. And on top of that, she was quite worried about what her parents-in-law would say. But her parents-in-law were really cool about it once they heard the full story on what happened, they understood and told her that they understood why Eli got the tattoo. 

Thanks for the translations! I never knew Eli liked computer games so much, too bad he couldn't join Jun for that E-sports tournament that was going on. Also, it's nice to know some of the back story of Eli's tattoo. He and Yeonsoo are seriously strong for being able to stay positive and kind after all the negative comments they've received. I'm glad he still has the support of his members and fans.

Questions that was related to U-Kiss

 

-What was your favorite song to promote while in U-KISS?

 

"Man Man Ha Ni." It was the song that brought us to fame. Everyone in Korea knew this song at the time, so every time we performed it, they would sing along to it. I can't believe I'm saying this, but "Man Man Ha Ni" is almost 10 years old! How time flies!"

 

-Are you still in contact with your members

"Definitely! We don't get to see each other as much as we used to, but they'll always be family to me. #fam"

I was actually thinking the same thing They would all look so good with uniforms. I also wouldn't be opposed if they brought back the somewhat vintage outfit with the suspenders from their One Shot One Kill mv . 

 

Definitely! I just hope that NH keeps giving him (and the other members too) more activities in Korea so he doesn't lose all the momentum he gained.

 

Kevin is sweet . When he left I was worried that we wouldn't see many public interactions between him and the members but it's so nice to see them exchanging support.

 

- It's actually kinda crazy to see that I reached 1000 posts   I don't really post much on other topics in the forum so it's mostly thanks to updating the Ukiss/Jun thread and replying to you and others who post here You're getting close to reaching 200 posts as well!

It's like Christmas came early this year.

Talking about Jun and his dads, makes me think of all the times they make fun of Soohyun because of  his age difference between him and Jun    

I've been ready for Christmas ever since they started dropping teaser pics 

Aww I miss seeing the leader-maknae duo. I think there was a lot of concern about their age difference when Jun joined the group but turns out they are comedic gold when they're paired together. Can't wait for them to reunite in 2019!

Yeonsoo is so likeable and well spoken.I couldn't stop laughing when she was telling her stories. Eli's persistence really payed off because now he has an awesome wife and son. She has had a lot of hardships being married to an idol but she's still so supportive of Eli and Ukiss.

I'm not familiar with Dongchimi but I'm curious if she is a regular on the show or if she only appeared on a few episodes?

Somewhat regular. Since Eli is her manager, her appearances are usually synched with Eli's schedules.

I see. Eli seems to be managing her pretty well so far. NH has been unwilling to promote him in Korea so I'm glad that Yeonsoo is able to appear on the show.

Yeah, usually the short ver have at least 3 mins. 

They didn't include (short version) in the title either so it threw me off a bit. Avex has been spoiling us with full music videos a lot lately.I almost forgot how frustrating short versions could be. (They were in the middle of decorating the Christmas tree )

 

Honestly though, short version or not, I'm just glad that Ukiss have Avex's support to make up for the lack Korean promotions this year.
