Hi fellow KissMes!  Is U-KISS really coming back in September?  Sounds tiring because they're still promoting in Japan aren't they?  I'm guilty of not yet buying their "Inside of Me" album....

My favorite UKISS albums are collage and neverland.

 

I decided to leave 1H around 1-2 weeks ago because of all the shit UKISS kept getting on the main forum and it made me sick but I still search ukiss every now and then, when I saw some of you guys wanted to make this thread more active i logged in again since there aren't any active UKISS threads anymore on any other kpop forum :/

I think I'm missing something here?  I think KISSme's may be more active on rocketboxx but then again I haven't been very active there compared to here...

I don't really use rocketboxx for anything other than downloads. The forum isn't much of a discussion forum where people will reply to you. I just use it for info and videos.

Yes, the way UKISS is talked about by users here.  I mean I know they made fun of NHMedia with "helping" managing a group with Brave Brothers.  They talk dirt about UKISS that much?     I've only been a member for a few months but I noticed most users here are SM stans, they bash Beast/Cube, left, right. centre...

You know I always thought there's no true way to judge how good a song/album/artist is by sales unless it's strict one per person.  I know that sounds ridiculous because how can they make profit that way, right?  The way I see it, those sales don't mean much except how much a fan is willing to spend.  We all know that hardcore fans are not going to just buy one album.

 

Just like music shows (but I won't deny I love it when Beast wins), it just really shows how dedicated the fans are, mostly domestic because they contribute to viewer rating and how demanding idol(s) for TV appearance/radio shows/CF, etc.  A big factor also goes towards the company the idol(s) come from.  Generally, if they debut through SM, YG.. JYP?, you're guaranteed success no matter how "good" your vocals actually are...

 

I feel bad for UKISS, NHMedia is horrible but then again, they didn't disband UKISS for not winning awards, which seems to be the "thing" in Kpop.  I just browsed some UKISS related topics and damn, I thought they were horrible to Beast but they literally deny UKISS' existence here =/

What ever happed to 'if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all'?

 

I've only been here for nine days and I'm already thinking of leaving. Fan wars, negativity towards others and other groups is stupid. I get that people don't like some groups because of jealousy and scandals that come out, but really?

How do you guys feel about AJ's tweet?

*bangs head on table* because he did it just a day before their anniversary.

 

He apparently didn't know about the implications of Ilbe or he didn't know the picture was from Ilbe until fans tweeted him about it.  It's in the translation of his apology tweet.  I hope he's more cautious from now on.

 

 

Curious as to why he would tweet it, but I am sure he is not stupid to associate himself with it. It may be an accident *Shrugs*

Dear Kissmes,

According to the notice about Eli's health condition which posted on U-KISS Japan official site last night makes lots of poeple worry about him.ã… ã… 

Now Eli's condition is still not so good, so he will not attend the upcoming scheduled events until his health condition is recovered.

However, Eli will perform in ZEPP Nagoya concert on Aug 30th which he strongly insists on doing it.
But he will be absent from the other events such as Handshake event, Back Stage, etc.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope you can kindly understand.

Eli is presently resting in their dwelling place, and he will work harder after he's completely restored.

Because I'm too lazy to write my own, I agree with this person from FB, if the fundraising thing is true.

 

Casey Reyes NH Media. You have done a lot of shady things over the years and we have all quietly put up with it for the sake of U-Kiss but if you actually except us to fund their next album in this way, you have reached an all time low. This is insane. You cannotseriously believe that we'd give our money by having you exploiting the boys like this. This is the craziest thing you've ever tried to pull. I'm praying this is a scam but with all the proof laying around it seems like NHM is seriously going through with this. I've lost all faith in NHM. I love U-Kiss so much and I hope they can continue on forever but it's starting to look so bleak. I can't believe this is happening

I hate to say this but would any company honestly want them with all the negatively that NHMedia has created for them over the past 5 years?  I'm not sure if there's a company/stockholders is able to see past all the negativity and just see their talents.

 

Especially in Korea, they'll see more of the cons than the pros that U-KISS has to offer.  I do wish they go with a new company but it's just not that easy =/

well the fact that block b, with all their negativity and hate, were able to get a new company gives me some hope. even if they cant find another korean company i wouldnt mind if they left nhm permanently for avex for a little while until they can find a new company in korea like what dgna just did.

Oh really?  I'm not into ALL kpop news or idol news.  There's some glimmer of hope then.

 

 

I think it was a hack although NH Media has yet to say anything except that there was an error.  They had a "lock-down" of their sites, apparently that's the protocol for servers that have been hacked.  I haven't been on twitter today so I could be wrong, but the boys have stopped using social media since the event.

 

Whatever happened, NH media is sure taking their sweet ass time fixing it or notifying the public wth is going on!

That Kpop funding thing is just so bad whether it is real or not at this point.  It just adds more negativity to U-KISS piling up from what I can remember the Diablo 3 thing.  U-KISS has become a bigger joke than they already were, it's just so depressing

ikr, but i noticed most of the negativity towards ukiss personally (not nhm) has been mostly on this forum. on other forums or websites i go too most people just feel bad for them. its really stupid nhm is just ignoring everything and ruining ukiss' image.

It might be due the the laxity of the forum rules 1H possesses like no other forum I've been too before.  I don't know why that calls for all the negativity to U-KISS though.

 

I think the funding would most likely affect the International KISSMEs rather than the Korean ones TBH.  I hope it didn't cause a mass loss in fans

yeah, i dont think theres been any loss of fans though. most kissmes on twitter/tumblr/etc. ive spoken to or have seen talk about the situation arent mad or annoyed with ukiss over it. ive seen people say they might stop following ukiss if dongho left though, but i seriously doubt he is leaving.

 

i dont know tbh. i really hope they arent opening the fundraising thing again though, and they clear up the mess soon as in not just ignoring it forever. i wouldnt mind if they pushed it back or just released a single because i heard they aleady started working with producers.

 

also i think they re-issued break time to maybe help for the comeback.

I'm actually hoping they push back the comeback date because Dongho is supposedly sick, most likely due to his busy schedule.  They need to all be healthy before coming back onstage.

 

I really hope they do not reopen the fundraising project again.  I don't understand why they just don't make another batch of official KissMe club thing.  Sorry, I suddenly forgot what it's called.  If they want money from international fans then they should extended the membership to international fans too.  Give us different perks or something.  We'd be more than happy too. I joined Rocketboxx's project of buying their new merchandise.  They went to an extend of getting a fellow Korean KissMe to help us bulk buy the fan and towel because they were only selling it within Korea.  That's how willing we are with NHM.. why can't they see that?    Funding a new album is a total different willingness though.

 

That hate towards UKISS here is laughable. Most of them honestly dont hate UKISS,they just like to bandwagon hate because its easier and there's not a lot of KISSMEs here to defend them. I try to defend them the best to my ability though. And because to them,UKISS not winning an award and not having a big fandom=not considered a group worthy of time here. When its the complete opposite. If UKISS dont care about awards that much,why should we/they? 

 

Im praying that NH clears this crap up soon. Its getting frustrating that they're not speaking up on this matter and making UKISS a laughing stock. 

I was really taken aback when I saw how they kept hating on U-KISS (like I've said I've only been here for a few months now).  Their only excuse of hate is U-KISS is irrelevant... nothing like they can't sing, or dance.  Seems so stupid.  However, with the fundraising incident I saw a few who acknowledged U-KISS talent and are as dumbfounded as we are as to why U-KISS isn't as love in Korea.  It made me believe in humanity in the forum again

Ive been here since march maybe and i just noticed how much UKISS get shitted on. Honestly,thay have no excuses to hate UKISS,they're just doing it because its fun. I dont think UKISS is completely ignored in korea,i just think broadcasting companies rather choose groups that they know bring in ratings for the programs and what not. But i have noticed that the UKISS bashing has went down here,i guess they noticed that there are KISSMEs here. 

I think that is why they need to win an award but that is highly unlikely at this point with so many rookies debuting and unfortunately EXO is slaying the charts.  I don't hate them I just got tired of their gazillion wins and how there's always a topic about each of their wins (or when they take a breath) on this forum.  This is where NHM needs to learn from SM though, they plaster EXO everywhere literally on buildings and millions of teasers. NOISE!  Why can't they do that for UKISS, I was so sad when I read that some KISSMEs didn't even know they released "Collage"     I'm surprised there aren't any KISSmes who haven't geared their career into infiltrating NHM and do a better job 

 

yeah, i agree. they should just sell the exclusive merchandise to international fans if they want to raise money so bad >_< or make some ukiss photo books or something. there are such better ways of raising money then begging for donations with creepy prizes.

 

i noticed more people on here saying positive things about ukiss because of the funding think though, i was pretty surprised. i thought it would be a rush of negativity. even though that did come from some users, im glad to see that it isnt the majority anymore.

I hope you can somehow convince your friends to come even though, I, myself am terrified of a lot of users on this forum.  

 

I'm slowly getting use to just ignoring it because they seriously just negative something just for the laughs (or just to start an argument to get more won).  If more KissMes speak up they'll downplay the so-called hate.  I'll try my best too but I don't really know about U-KISS as much as you lovely KissMe's here.  I was really relying on this thread but it's been so dead, I guess the troll users on here piss you all off 

 

I know there's a lot of info on rocketboxx but I'm one of those lame people that need a motivation to keep my interest in.  There's zero discussion on that forum except the chatbox and even then they stray away from UKISS most of the time.  I only have one friend that's into kpop but she's not the type to care more than just how good the song is (like I use to be) so I have no one to fangirl with.  I've been DL some of their pass English subbed shows though, I need to start watching them
