well considering Cube and Starship just debut boy groups i can see why they'd do that but Woollim and BigHit kind of throws me off a bit

well to be fair Woollim allegedly has been preparing to debut a new boy group and also BigHit too iirc

i understand cube and starship since they have rookie boygroups

but bighit and woolim are rumored to be debuting a bg, so the trainees NEED the show

i hope they aren't getting over confident, pd101 hype is big and such a good plataform to show their trainees to public

who knows, maybe they had a future sejeong/somi in their company, but now that potential will be wasted

then i guess good on them for not trying to get cheap media hype from the show

well with how the first season work with the girls i 'don't think they want to postpone their debut anymore

Well if none of these companies are sending trainees then what companies that have name brand are going to send trainees? Pledis and JYP are the only one that come to mind but will Pledis really send trainees when they're still building SEVENTEEN and are about to debut Pledis Girls?

I guess it's gonna be another Boys24 lol

there are more indenpendent trainees for this one compared to company trainees

I'm sure there will be some contestant talk about how they were a former big agencies trainee

the company stans would vote for him

just like in Boys24

Why are people shocked that BH isn't sending trainees?? Like I would've been shocked if they HAD (as much as I'd like to get a preview of some of their trainees). BigHit just isn't the sort of company to do this, just like there's no way any of the rap line is ever going to set foot on SMTM (the only one I could even see is Hoseok but you know what, he's so far from needing to prove himself as a rapper, he needs SMTM about as much as Namjoon and Yoongi does which is not at all).

BigHit just isn't that type of company. They're more quiet. I highly doubt they'd want to distract any of their trainees by sending them on a show that will put them into a group for one year and take away from their actual training period. I really loved P101 as you can tell from my Sohye badge (I don't stan p101 but I really like a lot of the girls and love Sohye after p101), but P101 is the... exact opposite of the sort of company BH is trying to be. Sending trainees for them would actually be a bad idea imo... so not shocked even a little.
