Some 95,000 tickets for BTS’ America tour sold out within minutes of being released, according to its agency Big Hit Entertainment Monday.

During the “2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour,†BTS will perform in Santiago, Chile on March 12, 2017; Sao Paulo, Brazil on March 19-20; Newark, NJ on March 23-24 and Anaheim, Calif. on Apr. 1-2.

Tickets for each venue were released on separate days last week.

The press release from Big Hit Entertainment quoted Chilean promoters as saying that tickets for BTS sold out faster than any other K-pop performance.

Due to requests from fans, BTS have announced two more tour dates, one in Brazil and one in the US.

Is it better to buy off Ticketmaster or Powerhouse?

On Ticketmaster it usually saids sold out, but it doesn't. I am trying to surprise my friend with BTS tickets since they will be in Chicago and she's more of a BTS fan then I am. So IDK I am confused on where to buy. Who is more accurate?

cant wait to get turnt at newark

about me.

but lol this article is inaccurate. They didn't add a date in Brazil. They were always doing two. And they added a total of 3 dates in the US (an extra in Newark and Anaheim and now an extra city in Chicago). And 95,000 doesn't really make sense for the US figures. If all 4 shows that have already had sales sold out and it was full capacity, then yes. But those venues (which normally seat like 18.3-18.7k for hockey) are reduced to like 14-15k ish for concerts. So, it's probably more like 56-60k for the American dates.

Maybe they are including the Brazilian and Chilean figures to give total ticket sales, but the article is suggesting that it's just US dates?

idk. But they're about to add another 14k or so when Chicago sells out in January =D

The Powerhouse website just links through the Ticketmaster search for the most part, but a lot of people have said it's good. I didn't use it - so I cant' really vouch. I would advise using the Ticketmaster app on your phone over the website though. Good luck getting tickets for your friend. That's nice of you =D
