Even though their bodies are maturing, they are barely 16 and 18 y.o. Aren't these clothes too much for someone who's not even 20 y.o to wear?

ㅇㅇ Even though their concepts are sexy concepts, they are still fundamentally making them wair short shirts, shorts, showing their shoulders and clavicle and showing their skin..

ㅇㅇ Jun Somi's skirt was so short that day that when she was walking up the stairs, Kyung Howon had to hide her with his umbrella. She was MC-ing and her skirt she kept hiding the front of her skirt because it was too short. Even though she was just standing straight, you could see her safety shorts..

ㅇㅇ Jun Somi's skirt is seriously short.. it hurts my heart.. she's still a pretty kid if she wears something longer

ã…‡ They all know that they had to wear stuffs like this in order to become an idol though? If our country's idols are all layered up, isn't that the end of their popularity? ã…‹ I have nothing to bash about companies and stylists. If idols hate wearing those kind of clothes, then they shouldn't be idols in our country.

ㅇㅇ Somi's checked skirt is way too lolita-looking.. that first pic has way too much exposureㅠㅠ

ëœìž¥ë‚¨ But why do kids that are not even celebrities shorten their uniforms like that though?

I get that some of them may have no issue with wearing clothes that show a lot of skin, but at the end of the day there's so many creeps out there that it makes me uncomfortable.

And I know that a lot of minors tend to wear tight and shorts clothes, but these girls are public figures and have a lot of exposure.

I remember when I went on MLBPark when Seulgi was doing an interview type thing on it and I was searching around and there was so many perverted photos and gifs of minors... :(

some of these are pretty bad, some of them are acceptable but

i think the worst for me is somi's skirt and tzuyu's elevator cf, the skirt is just absurdly short and tzuyu's cf was pretty inherently supposed to be sexual.

this is fucked up too, just because it's the standard doesn't mean it's right or appropriate

what that girl (is that Somi?) is wearing in the 2nd to last pic is actually pretty normal on average, since i've seen young, underage teens wear clothes like that, but since these idols get a lot of perverted uncle fans those clothes are probably no longer as innocuous as they should be.

It doesn't look bad when it's like the shorts and tops they wore for most of Whatta Man promotions, but when it's a shirt that is short and you can see the shorts underneath, that's when it begins to appear uncomfortable for both the idol and some of the fans watching. It looks bad when you can see girls adjusting individual pieces of their clothing or holding bits down during certain moves or when the wind blows or having to cover up their legs with a blanket because just sitting you could look up the skirt. Some of those comments are silly, you don't have to wear less clothing to be sexy.

I've also watched tons of cheer performances since elementary school, so most of the outfits aren't a real problem, just as long as the length of the skirt doesn't look like an accident. And as long as some of the moves aren't too overt.

all i could notice were somi's abs tbh

but on a more serious note, i honestly think there should be a standard or at least some sort of restriction to how much skin they should be showing... especially since they are always in the media, they are constantly sexualized as minors.. it should be in their contracts,,,

Crop tops and short shorts are in fashion, so I feel like underage idols will wear them regardless just because they want to.  However, sexualized choreography is never okay if you are a minor.  Minors should not be sticking their asses out in short skirts.  That usually bothers me more than the clothes because short clothes can be appropriate for minors, but perverted dance routines with minors is never okay.

You see Somi dressed like that and remember the producer of Produce 101 called it "healthy porn"  for men and you get creeped out to the max. I don't understand why there isn't more outrage over this but how can it be when their main consumer are men anyway.

Exactly this. Nice job articulating it.

Since I'm American, these clothes are normal to me, but it's primarily the choreography that makes me do a double take.

i still cant believe the way they market somi when she's only 15.

there's a distinction between normal teen girls dressing this way and idols and if you don't see it.....how many hs girls are going out to do flashy choreography in front of older man? it's not the same as choosing to dress this way yourself
