Sorry to be that person but I am here with a 'begging bowl'. Some of you will be familiar with my site hallyunoona.com and it's resources (multiple channel simulcast with live chat, new and growing gif archive, news stories, recipes, language bits etc etc) Our site has just gone down, we are broke. We have always operated an ad-free model with a donations button towards our hosting, the site makes us no money and we invest a lot of time and money into it. This has always worked, this year, however despite a large increase in users of the site we have received no donations at all and this month we just physically couldn't cover the costs ourselves. We are working on getting the money together to get the site back up, but are hoping to raise £300 in donation from the many people who use our site to keep it going for the foreseeable future. This is honestly a fraction of the costs but enough for us to be able to supplement.
