"It'll flop" "It only appeals to a niche" "There's literally no hype"

Since when did it not have hype? There was so much hype for this game. People bought ps3s just for the game and then they bought ps4s just for it.

I don't remember anybody saying it would flop. And jrpgs are niche but Final Fantasy is pretty much mainstream and the exception.

but it's FF main series and it will never not have hype.... and let's be real only some fools would consider any Final Fantasy main series a flop in terms of sales....

basically only deluded Western RPGs fanatic would call it a flop

it reminds me when Vesperia boosted X360 sales in Japan when it was released

I can see non-jrpg fans seeing the hype and saying that i guess. Though this is the most westernized FF has ever been in terms of gameplay.

360 got some good games early on when they were actually trying in japan. Vesperia and Lost Odyssey were both great. Eternal Sonata was decent too.
