I watched the show and YG didn't sound half as bad as what some of you and the article is making him out to be. Seems like he's just giving his opinion on how Shannon can improve her dancing, and that's to lose weight. In the first place I don't think Shannon needed to them her dancing, I wonder why she chose to do so.

The truth is he never really did become a singer.  He was basically little more than a glorified back-dancer for Seo Taiji.  The group's name was "Seo Taiji and Boys."  Yang Hyun Suk was one of the "Boys".  I think he did some minor singing and some simple back-up singing.  But he's not really a musician or singer.  Never was.
