Yes, at the risk of the shipping getting out of hand, I also though they wouldn't couple off until later in their career. Guess not! But then they laid this creepy theme over it so that everyone focuses on that instead. Interesting move, DSP. They're really surprising me. The whole album is a maturity level that I thought they wouldn't reach until at least 2 years in. Soooooooo good. Very ambient, dark, minor chords everywhere, totally my kind of sound. And they kept the production very raw, both vocals and instrumentation. The beats were echoing very nicely, nothing too "produced" or sounding like it was straight out of generic keyboard. Still very electronic, of course, but more of a dirty, grungy approach. Sounds like indie scratch demos instead of finished mainstream radio hits, AND I LOVE THAT!!! Favorite song is Bmin's Trust Me. I love how they captured the forlorn, searching feel of the song, but the warm colors and books and candles made it cozy and inviting at the same time. And holy mother of god, when Somin and J.Seph started their duet dance in the alley, I WAS ABOUT TO THROW THINGS!!! I love any and all combinations of them, but from the beginning, way back when Oh NaNa teasers were coming out, I always felt drawn to J.So. Just something about their chemistry is really... captivating to me, I can't explain it. They have this darker, mysterious kind of feel that I love. *faint* Ironic how the unit versions of the songs were Coffee and Muffin and Bmin, but the video paired them off opposite. I like that. I like everything about this group, what the hell. They haven't taken one misstep as far as I'm concerned. And the girls are really belting it out this time! Some of their previous mixing and mastering tended to muffle the full power of Somin's voice, but she came through loud and clear in Bomb Bomb. Not just the moves themselves, which are cleaner and sharper, but the formations are great as well. They're very balanced, which hasn't always happened in the past.
