If they're beards and/or are married just for the benefits or they're in a open relationship (agreed to date other people while in the relationship) it's okay. If he dates the other woman while he's still married to his wife, that would be cheating or having an affair (if the other woman is married). Waiting for the wife to find out about her husband being unfaithful, and asking for a divorce, is gonna be much more difficult for the wife to go through. Suzy Quatro 1,441 Posted November 28, 2016 Share Posted November 28, 2016 It depends if the other person in the marriage is aware of the situation; like if they don't get along, don't care about each other and are in the process of separating then I guess it wouldn't be infidelity if they already discussed it and agree upon start to make their own lives. chichibio 2,726 Posted December 24, 2016 Share Posted December 24, 2016 There are countries where getting a divorce is hard/takes a long time/costs a lot/not possible, so if it's a marriage where they are already separated(just not legally) and/or are in the process of getting a divorce/an annulment then it's fine... as long as the person they're dating is aware of their status and, if they have kids, the situation is clear to them also. Just be transparent about the situation to all the parties involved. Technically, it's still "adultery" and many people(gossipmongers who aren't even directly involved, especially lol) would still judge, but eh... the average human lifespan is only ~70 years, make the most out of it(as long as you aren't harming people/being deceitful).
