Are you having nightmares?

So, most of my life I've been struggling with awfully vivid nightmares. Because of them I usually woke up in the middle of the night being terrified, not wanting to go back to sleep. This has an awful result on my mood and my work the other day since I'm always cranky, moody and feel even more exhausted if I wake up so suddenly.

When I think in retrospective, contect of these dreams are so stupid and surreal, but there are so vivid in my head that when I wake up from them I can't believe they were only dreams.

Last night I've dreamt that Twice were making a new MV for their comeback and during the filming one part of the set fell on Momo and she died on spot... Stupid, right? But in my head that seemed so real. This became number one news on every kpop portal and no one could believe something like that happen... I literally woke up in tears. And this ain't even in top5 worst nightmares I had.

(Before haters and trolls start saying anything not worth bothering, I'll add that I love Twice, I love my Momo chan and I have no idea why did my mind decide to pick exactly her... I guess my subconscious is Momo biased, lol)

I guess this is a result from all stress I gather during the day since I am not type of a person who openly talks about her feelings irl.

I can name like 4 or 5 good dreams I've had in my whole life. Rest of it are nightmares or, if I'm lucky, dreams I can't recall the other day. Sometimes I wonder if I deep inside have a sick mind.

If anyone has a similar problem it'd be helpful to share some of your experience. Is there anything you do to prevent bad dreams? Any advice will be helpful ^^ Hwaiting!

Not really but I remember once I had a dream about that my husband wanted to kill me.

..I guess you could try relaxing during the day

Drink some tea, stretch.. I'm not sure how to really help you

I actually drink tea every evening before I go to bed, can't say it really helps. I'll try with stretching. Thanks ^^

Also my sister said playing relaxing music helps

Like yoga music, instrumentals and such

Same esp when I spend all night looking at missing cases or researching about serial killers. It sucks and im sleeping alone for the first time in my life cause of Uni so that makes the whole thing worse.

Do you watch stuff like that on Netflix, I want to watch something like that but it seems like Netflix doesn't have anything good

I love reading about that stuff too! But the weird thing is that I usually sleep good after reading those, don't know why.

Also my sister said playing relaxing music helps

Like yoga music, instrumentals and such Do you watch stuff like that on Netflix, I want to watch something like that but it seems like Netflix doesn't have anything good

No I research about real life events an watch documentaries about famous serial killers or missing peoples.

 

I love reading about that stuff too! But the weird thing is that I usually sleep good after reading those, don't know why.

I sleep good after reading stuff like that too. Even after scary movies

I watched this one last night after coming across an article

 

 

These ones scared me the most lol I was paranoid for a weeks esp the second one cause the killer was never identified. Its fascinating but terrifying at the same time

I only get them when I sleep with my hands on my chest, I don't know if that makes sense lol

 

Last nightmare I had was about the sun exploding or something, everyone was just screaming and everyone died at the end.

I remember dreaming of some murder stuff a few times in my life and I once woke up with a feeling of being weightless after I jumped off a cliff in my dream but I wouldn't describe those dreams as actual nightmares because they weren't vivid and I didn't woke up sweating and feeling terrified. Fortunately I never experienced that kind of dreams and hopefully never will.
