like, even blood sweat and tears was more of a metaphor for temptation than a run of the mill cheesy love story. i don't follow other groups besides lovelyz so i'd really like to know if there are any other albums from kpop groups this year that aren't about baby this and i love you that in the slightest. i want to appreciate deep, thought provoking lyricism.

Hmm, I think we may not have the same understanding of what "deep" and "thought provoking" entail.

wow I never even really realized WINGS had no 100% just love songs, I love it

 

 

although I agree, the way you worded it does make you sound smug, I would have just said "are there any kpop albums that don't have any love songs in them?" and then said in the OP "except for BTS' WINGS because I've already listened to that"  :smile: the way it's worded now is just going to make people try to show you why WINGS isn't that great/untypical or take shots at BTS/you for being an elitist hipster  :unsure:

You could've worded this way different, like so-

 

Looking for a kpop album released this year that contains no love songs.

I personally don't find love songs to be that thought-provoking and am looking for albums released in 2016 with none on them. Can anyone recommend me some? Please don't say Bangtan's WINGS, as I already have that album, thanks!

i said in the op that i consider it more of metaphor for temptation. i mean, rap mon said that what's it's about. they don't even explicitly talk about a girl. i mean, it's just my opinion tho.

? i'm saying i want to appreciate any of that type of lyricism from other groups if someone has another album to recommend  without any love songs. and idk if you read the lyrics to every single song on the wings album but imo at least half of the song are very thought provoking and deep.
