OK things are getting stupidly out of hand, even mine made slightly more sense lol.....

Queer - Redundant

Intersex.........bestiality :omgwtf: Thought it was short/slang for interspecies sex, I guess the word hemephrodite would be a better choice if word to use

Asexual - biologically that doesn't apply to humans and sexually they don't fit in that group or with heterosexuals

Someone already commented on the intersex comment, but yes, asexuality is a real thing. Believe it or not, some people are not sexually attracted to neither men nor women. Wow.

Intersex doesn't mean beastiality. Intersex is both parts like a homaphrodite.

Asexual does apply to humans who are not sexually attracted to either sex.

Yeah about intersex I got muddled with inter species sex especially since hemephrodite is scientific word that I've been accustomed to describe them. Dunno why hemephrodite isn't use instead.

As for asexual, like I said, biologically humans cannot be asexual. An individual person still needs the opposite gender, or more specifically the gametes, in order to reproduce. 1 person cannot reproduce by themselves. And like I mentioned an asexual personally sexually speaking, doesn't really fit into being hetro or non hetro simply because they don't have a preference unlike the others.

Probably in keeping with the ___sex terminology... also in mythology hermaphrodites tend to have both sets of organs be functional, which is not the case at all in intersexed people.

How does it matter if biologically humans cannot self-reproduce?  Homosexuality is not about reproduction, it's about sexual "preference" (loaded term, of course), whereas asexuality is not wanting to have sex.  That it doesn't seem like a preference like the others is not the point, because it is still an under-recognized sexual minority.

The reason I wouldn't include it is because I don't think that it needs the recognition some seems to want to give it, considering it's not that different from having an extremely low sex drive and the worst asexuals get is, say, being inundated with media in a culture that supposedly thinks everyone should get married, or winding up in relationships with sexual people and feeling pressured into having sex (protip, only date other asexuals).  (And also because tumblr asexuals have rendered the label all but meaningless anyway, but that's a beyond the scope of... anything.)  But the bar for inclusion is not necessarily whether one is sufficiently oppressed or not, so whatever.

Asexuals are actually more discriminated against than lgb people. Not many people even know it exists, and even fewer people recognise it as a legitimate orientation. Many asexuals go through the same feelings of worthlessness, feeling like they broken/different, and other general isolation that people of any other sexual minority go through. They deserve a letter in the acronym just like anyone else.

Regardless of recognition, they are not discriminated against more than lbg people.  The bar for discrimination is not whether they are recognized, it is whether you might get fired from your work, assaulted, or not be allowed to marry the person of your choice with all accompanying benefits/privileges.  This does not happen to asexual people because they don't want to have sex with people.  Asexuals can get on with their lives exactly as they want without anyone giving a shit whether they are recognized or not.  They just have to date other asexual people (if they care about dating at all).  Just as a homosexual man would generally restrict himself to dating only other homosexual men.

But as I said, they are a sexual minority, and the criteria for inclusion in the acronym is not necessarily whether they are discriminated against, or to what extent they are discriminated against, anyway.  So I don't feel strongly about it either way.

Why do you think they're never discriminated against? Do you think there never have been any asexuals who have been "correctively" raped just because they told someone that they're not sexually attracted to anyone? Of course there have. Do you think there never have been any asexuals who were forced/forced themselves to marry someone who they're not attracted to just because they feel like they have to? Of course there have. Does this sound at all familiar to you?  -_-

And plus, do you really think it's so easy for an asexual person to only date other asexuals? As far as I know, asexuals comprise about 1% of the population. That means they can't form any romantic relationships with 99% of the population? Gee, that sounds really simple. And it's not like asexuals always recognise the fact that they're asexual, because it is such an unknown orientation. There are many people out there who had been in sexual relationships for years and even had children before they realized they're asexual. Not wanting sex is not that easy...

Do you think there aren't ppl with low sex drives or just "normal" sex drives who are raped because they tell someone they don't want to have sex with them?  Do you think it's less of an offense for someone who isn't asexual to be married against their will?

Asexuals certainly do get into relationships with sexual people.  In all relationships there are compromises.  Sexual ppl are not always up for sex either, and sexual people vary in the level of their sex drives as well.  That's for the individuals in the relationship to negotiate.  An asexual's situation is barely different from that of someone with a very low sex drive.  It is all basically on a normal range of human sexuality (not so say that lgbt aren't themselves part of a spectrum and other than normal).
