Wait, how? In the heights is a musical about Washington Heights. Not only that, most everyone in the musical speaks Spanish. Those are two of the most important aspects of the musical. Every single song in the musical uses both English and Spanish. A major plot point of the musical is that Nina's dad doesn't want Benny to date her because Benny is black (while Nina's family is Puerto Rican) and has no real cultural ties. Another major plot point is that Usnavi has been saving up so he can go back to the Dominican Republic. How is this musical even gonna work in Korea?
