Correctly-without strain and with resonance...even if it isn't that resonant but just relaxed and not forced. Anybody (who can sing) can sing middle register notes well and sound good. Then it's simply your personal preference that has little to do with how good the singer is. Some people find high notes epic and some find it annoying. It's just about preference. Not necessarily but if you're talking about BEST singers, they have to have the ability of reaching both high and low notes aside from stirring their listeners in an adventure of different emotions through their voices. The song by her I like most is probably Shower of Tears, because it's not only her belting.
