What was your overall opinion about the anime? Did you like it? yes? no? YooJeong 6,303 Posted November 21, 2016 Share Posted November 21, 2016 I'm a figure skater myself so whenever there is a movie or show about skating, I'm like Because I KNOW they are goi to be full of misinformation about skating like they'll say "oh e does a quadruple lutz combo" AS IF lmao. Or "he got to Worlds after being a senior skater for one year only" and I can't take it seriously because of the misinformation and I just can't Like in Ice Princess when she magically goes from Learn to Skate Basic Skills to Junior Nationals in less than a year, and goes from barely doing a single toe to magically doing a double flip This show wasn't as bad but for some reason skating shows always have a lot of misinformation of the sport like how had for easy it is to do certain jumps, competitions, scoring, etc. This show was surprisingly accurate though. The only problem I have is that they definitely make it seem like the two are a couple, but....will they actually make them canon? Or just tease the audience with it? I don't like it when they use the boy X boy thing to attract viewers but then never actually make them gay. It seems like queer baiting and I'm not about that life. The two seem like a really cute couple so I hope they do actually end up together Overall I enjoyed the show but sometimes it was unrealistic about the sport so I couldn't take it as seriously, buts it's a nice show Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I discovered the opening in youtube and I thought it was really interesting, so I decided to watch it and omg I fell in love with everything... the music, the animation, the storyline, the characters (I want to see more Yurio), etc. I can't wait for the next episode. There are too many unnecessary unrelated things happening, too many characters introduced without real need and the old ones who were promised to be in maim roles are barely getting screen-time. Plus I don't really appreciate what creator did with Victor charcter - it's more cringeworthy than likable in my opinion. Creating him as a Russian and making him say those silly words on Russian is a bit embarassing to watch since I know what these words mean in reality and damn, it's so... like, no Main character doesn't make me sympathyse him, more like pity. Yurii was the one I respected the most but as I said, he barely shown anymore.
